ZOS is mandating vengeance as the only option for Cyrodiil PvP right now.

I choose not to play. ZOS has said they won't make vengeance the only option, but that's exactly what they're doing right now.
Only for a week and you still can play PvP with builds in IC, Batzlegrounds and Duells.
Vengeance is not an option for 12 out of 13 weeks a patch.
When ZOS said they won’t make vengeance the only option they probably meant for longer than a week because replacing all regular campaigns has been what they did since the first vengeance so otherwise their statement would be false the moment they said it.

Just wondering, when you say it's the worst PvP ever, would you say it was by ESO standards or MMOs on the whole?
I heard FF14 was considered to be the worst because of the lack of class balance in PvP.

How about they take away your PvE for a week? What would your response be then?

It's really too bad they don't put everyone through the same "test". PvE players should have to play the same templated versions vengeance forces on the PvP players.

The 1st test was fine. 90-95% of the early comments/complaints about the test reveal most had not read the test parameters before commenting, or did read them and ignored the parameters and posted anyway. This is similar to the first few hours of zonechat during the test.

No idea about the format, complained about the speed, the test, the abilities, had zero to no knowledge of the parameters and a lack of overall understanding of what we were doing and what the Devs were testing for.

In-Game this also lead to veteran players and RAID leaders playing GH style tactics - RAID leaders in GH often avoid major fights to the benefit of less strong player's systems due to performance issues. If enough folks complain of lag in RAID groups, group leads intuitively keep the group happy by finding other opportunities. These opportunities most often involve avoiding large conflicts or consecutive large fights (in GH RAIDS often ignore ball groups or heavily comped small groups).

The 'new player' or PvE'rs able to play Cyrodiil line we've seen a lot of lately, is a talking point Zos could've solved ages ago.

We could start a thread and I almost guarantee ;) , veteran PvPer's and guilds could design an 11pc set and mythic that Zos could give away free to every player (or add at the campaign level as a template checkbox before entering Cyrodiil), that would allow new, casual and primarily PvE players the ability to experience Cyrodiil in a meaningful way.

Limitation - player must wear all pieces and it wouldn't work after the player attained a certain CP and or Alliance rank.

The armor would simply grey out and become unusable. Let's call the set/option - Vengeance. B)

ZOS just needs to scrap the whole vengeance effort now. Cut their losses and focus on fixing the PvP we log in to play.
