Cold War feels like a worse version of the mudball event. It was not fun and only annoying running around the entire city waiting until quest markers showed up. I really like the concept of a snowball fight in ESO but more as a lighthearted PvP thing. If it must be PvE, at least having the sense of danger of an npc throwing a snowball back at you if you come out from hiding at the wrong time and then either having to roll dodge the incoming snowball or lose a "point" if you get hit.
Also, one of the NPCs you have to hit is wearing a skirt and a crop top and it makes me feel bad. The ambient temperature is not one for that clothing, let alone hitting her with a snowball :(.

The Dragon's Hoard... Golduin is cute. Not sure if the name is a reference to the quest (gold) + Alduin (uin) but feels like it could be.

The Hunt for Dakoi... I'm not sure how a regular argonian is teleporting through the water like that (not summoning a portal, not teleporting to a visible space, just... disappearing into shallow water) but I like the message behind it.

The Mudman... why is he an oversized Xivilai with Sanguine eyes and a mud effect overlay? I didn't find any answer for this in the dialogue. It does not look like something that's hand crafted by a Bosmer.

The Judgement of Garth... Garth is cute, I wish he danced longer, though.

Overall, to be completely realistic with you, none of these are quests I would do on live. They're just more fetch quests that take longer than just doing the Imperial's quest for the event ticket. Most of them don't give us any new lore either. I'd like to see more hands-on and enticing event activities like the Hollowjack fight from Witches Festival, the "dance dance revolution" mechanic from Naj-Caldeesh, the side portals in Infinite Archive, and Writhing Wall-scale group activities in the future... and less fetch quests.

Wait, so new life has new quests? I'm 6 months back from a break of a few years. One thing that always bummed me out was the repetitive nature of these great events. How many years are we gonna do the polar bear plunge?

I like the way we can pick up all of Anicus Novius' quests in one visit. Definitely a good idea.

Looking forward to seeing how the new quests requiring the use of emotes are are going to play out (and dance off) on live.

Not so happy about all the junk in the reward boxes. The inventory management is more challenging than the quests.

How do you feel about the distribution of rewards during this event?
    It's fine.

How do you like the new daily quests?
I think they were ok. I did like The Desert and the Sea quest the most as it gives us more lore on redguards and their view on magic, and the twist at the end is cool.

Did anything not function to your expectations?
I wish that we were granted achievements for completing the new quests.

Do you have any other general feedback?
Bretons, Dunmer, and Imperials are the only races that did not get a new quest this time around, so I'd like for them to get new quests.

Bretons have their holiday of Saturalia which lends a huge chunk of its aesthetic to New Life according to second recent loremaster archive. It'd be cool if we have a Breton holiday quest exploring who the "long forgotten god of debauchery" is that Saturalia was created for

It'd be cool if Imperials were given a quest about the Rite of Akatosh from The Elder Scrolls: Castles where they face off against an Avatar of Akatosh for the Old Life Festival, and by successfully defeating this avatar, elders believe that the God of Time will grant them more time, youth, or peace.

For the Dunmer, I am sure you can surprise us with something that is cool to do.
