Yes I know I'm a dumb arse is there a way to reset the bid?
As I was hoping not to spend 15Mil more than I wanted to

There is no way to reset a bid.

It's mind-blowing to me that I have to double-confirm deleting a free poison (and type DELETE, no less) but can accidentally fat finger a bid with an extra number and there's no way to fix it. :(

I would love to see just a simple "You're about to bid xxxx, your new guild bank balance will be yyyy, are you sure?" or, as OP is asking for, the ability to retract/change a mistaken bid. We're allowed to *raise* the bid as many times as we want, why can't we *lower*?

(and yes, I've made this suggestion multiple times over the years)

Thanks for the heads up I just out bid that trader with a bid on the current one. I didn't want to change to that trader

Lowering a bid would remove the point of bidding. Then it is haggling.

People would change their bid right before the hammer falls.
They are blind bids, you have no legitimate way of knowing who else has bid or how much, so lowering a bid would be functionally the same as only ever having bid that lower amount. Nothing gets resolved or calculated until trader flip time.

It's wild how people will comment on a subject they clearly do not have any knowledge of. This is how rumors and misunderstandings start. Anyone who has ever had bidding privileges in a guild knows you cannot see any other guild's bids at a trader and, thus, there is no last minute "haggling" to be had. Where in the world did such an idea even come from? We just randomly making stuff up now? For what intended purpose?

To the OP's point, it would be nice to have the ability to lower a bid, just like you can raise one, in the event of a mistake like yours. Unfortunately, guild management tools do not get much love in this game and I question if they ever will.
