I JUST TOOK A KEEP IN CYRODIL AND THOSE TWO DOOR ARE SURELY ENOUGH BUT THE ENDEAVOR SAYS I HAVE DONE 0 OF 200K DAMAGE IN CYRODIL. WHAT'S WITH THE CHJEATING ZOS?

Used to work by going to the hammer spawn point just outside the base and trebing the NPCs in the face too. Now it doesn't anymore. #WorkingAsIntended. It doesn't state but it has to be to players, I'm sure.

Does the endeavour say "damage to structures"? If not, it's players.

The problem with this is the one that says "heal x amount in Cyro or BGs" works by fixing walls.

At least it used to. But I'm guessing they must have "fixed" that as well.

its bad enough yesterday i couldnt take a keep solo for the endeavor as i kept getting mostly one shotted or darn near every time i tried. no wonder newbs dont want to play pvp. what a rip off!

It has to be damage to actual players. Apparently they got tired of us cheesing the endeavor by firing a single ballista bolt onto a resource flag.

in my experience today at having taken two keeps, npcs do not count

NPCs don't count and it's been that way for awhile now. This is one of the easiest endeavors to complete and it doesn't even require you to actually use any skills. You literally just put down your siege and click a few times safely from afar at other players.

it really ought to say when you cursor over it... but i'm kinda stumped as to why this came up today >.> the rest you'll probably get just doing a dungeon for the event tickets. ok, maybe not "use emotes 1times" (yes, it says "times" lol), but some ppl use emotes in dungeons just for fun

I completed three of today's Endeavors without doing any PvP. What's the problem again? And to be fair if it rakes doing PvP to get three Endeavors done I don't get three Endeavors done that day. No loss to me.

I had this same complaint the last time this endeavor came up, but it turns out that the only damage which counts is damage done to other players. I think the wording on the endeavor should be changed to say "deal damage to other players" for clarity.

Nice to have them specified, but at least the other endeavors where so easy and fast to get done today. Type /wave + kill two "dangerous npcs" which in Cyro is all the guards and I forgot the last easy peasy one because I was done 2 minutes after logging in.

Edit: last easy was activate skills with skillstyle 10 times, love those too.

i dont have any skill styles available to me for skills that im using. none. i have 6 skills styles available but none are for any skills i have.

I recall the same endeavor some time back. Went to Cyrodiil and captured a resource. 0/200,000 damage done. Left Cyrodiil and haven't been back.

Set one up just for these endeavors. That's what I did for the ones calling for scribed skills. I scribed a damage skill and a healing skill and put the one I need on my bar then complete the endeavor. When it's finished I put my other skill back on my bar.

You don't have to earn every endeavor.

Go fishing instead, if you haven't done that, instead of using skill with skill style if you can't use skills that have a skill style for some reason. You only need to catch 8 fish which is pretty easy - go to any map with less player on you should be able to find a place with fishes that isn't close to empty.

That is two out of three that are fast to finish - no requirement for type of fish or water.

Kill 2 harder enemies can be done by joining Public dungeons or Mirror event in West Weald (you only need to kill those Atronach or pre-event boss 2 times).

On PCEU I went fishing for the 3rd endeavor.

On PCNA I was in a hurry and decided to just /wave instead.

As for the other two, they completed themselves while running dungeons for the event.

Caps Lock won't make your concern any more important. If your keyboard is broken, then get a new one. There's no cheating but ignorance--on the players' side--and carelessness--on the devs' side--. See below.

Such an endeavor doesn't exist. I think the word "structure" is used only in the "repair x amount..." type.

Depends on the endeavour. Originally, only one such existed, but a long while ago, that endeavour split into two different ones. Maybe the state we have now was its original intended way to work, I don't know.

If it says "do X amount of damage in Cyrodiil, IC, or BG"*, the damage must be dealt to players on the opposing team. The how doesn't matter; it can come from your character or from siege, but the target has to be another player.
If it says "do X amount of damage in Cyrodiil, IC, or BG with siege weapon", then anything--player, NPC, walls/doors--counts as a target.

* @ZOS_Kevin can the team, for the sake of the smallest of small QoL changes, finally extend it with only 3 words, to clean players' frustration about this?

It probably wants you to do damage to other players.

Honestly, I find this to be really easy to get, you just need to look for a place that is going to get attacked and use oils or meatbags to deal damage to other players.
