21 Pursuits; 5/10/15 required.

The reward at ten Pursuits is five hundred Seals of Endeavour, so that might be interesting even for people who don't like grouping. You only get to nine Pursuits purely for non-dungeon content though, so it looks like we'll have to dip our toes in a little.

Or you could throw caution to the wind and live a little. (Not op specifically) Ask around in guild and maybe go do some dungeons. I get the woes of pug life but dungeons can be super fun and rewarding. It feels good to accomplish something you maybe didn't think you could do. You might like it. I'm sure many guilds are setting up or have set up something for this event to help get people into groups. Join us on the dark side.

I usually play EU but I've been levelling a char on NA since the recent upgrade when EU was down for a good while and I just got these two challenges done :

Earn 1 Rank in the Undaunted Skill Line
Earn 3 Ranks in the Undaunted Skill Line

My char is only rank 2 though so it must be bugged.

Sorry for off topic too but I'm also trying to do the weekly endeavor to kill 350 enemies with scribed spells. I've not gone through the questline yet but I started it and got a scribed spell, then did Wing of the Indrik a bit ago and made another scribed spell, they don't work towards the endeavor though when killing enemies and the count is still at 0/350.

I somehow managed to get credit for 2 ranks of undaunted before I logged out after doing my normal daily routine this morning. And all I did was my crafting dailies, some master writs, and attuned/fed a set of crafting tables into my GMs.

<Re-reads the list> I'm guessing you mean the Undaunted Skill Line ones? I'd forgotten you could do that with Bogrul's Delve quests. That brings it up to nine indeed. (Assuming one has three levels still to gain in that Skill Line across one's characters.)

Edit: Seems like people have discovered some oddity with those two while I was typing my post. Interesting, off to try some activities to see if I can trigger that too.

Personally I have tried, and confirmed that I didn't like any of random guilds or PUG-grouping or boss mechanics -- but that does not invalidate the good advice to give it a go some time if you've never tried!

(Another thing I really disliked was the effort I had to put into researching a minimal level of overland gearing, CP configuration, and skill configuration. If you're not already interested, the websites and YouTube channels recommended here assume far too much prior knowledge, and are understandably mostly aimed at higher tiers of equipment. At least this was my experience a few years ago.)

Hey some people just don't like it and that's fine. You tried. To your second point though, maybe not for you, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention guilds again. I'm an officer in a social guild. We have amazing people that spend their time helping people with gear advice, rotation advice, watch your parse videos and give help. Teach vet mechanics in trials and dungeons, no guides needed. That's not to say guides wouldn't be helpful. I also think Zos should do better about teaching it in game. As for guilds, mine is just one in a sea of guilds happy to help. The right guild makes a world of difference.

500 seals is nice, but I was disappointed to not see a unique reward. I'm not sure I will get to the top tier of this one.

I think this is another pretty well crafted Golden Pursuit - kudos to those who devised the list of tasks. :)

I drop off 2 tasks right away since I already have the Undaunted skill line maxed - but these are great tasks for newer players or those building up an alt. Since I'm pretty experienced though, it is easily made up by the fact that I can solo 3 of the 6 group dungeons listed. Remaining pure solo, I can finish the event with 16/15. If I grab three pugs I could get to 19 tasks.

I don't mind the tasks at all, but the capstone reward is just not worth it to me. For those that need keys, I hope you get the capstone reward.

I am both disappointed and relieved. Its somewhat enticing but I wont have fomo if I dont manage to complete it. It also is a nice compliment to the up comming undaunted event

This Undaunted-themed Golden Pursuit seems similar to the PvP ones, of which we've had three. The first one had the Mini Siege Mining Customised Action as a reward. Other than that across all three PvP Golden Pursuits so far the only rewards were Gold, Alliance Points, and Tel Var Stones. Perhaps we're actually lucky we get some Seals of Endeavour for this event.

I do question what the point of such lackluster Golden Pursuits is in conjunction with Events. ZOS might as well not bother and roll these rewards into the corresponding Event rewards. It really feels like their only purpose is to try to drum up some renewed interest in the Events for their metrics.

Thank you for writing all these pursuits here :)

I was surprised but happy to see that they included other activities as well as group dungeons. It makes it more interesting I think.

Not a chance will I set foot in a dungeon ever again. Keys for things I would decon anyway are no incentive. I did the 5 I needed to get the 25k because it was easy to stand in the Bad Hollows with a bunch of others and kill snake mom over and over again.
I use the PCNA seals lessons for alts and I'm holding 48k in seals PCEU waiting for something to buy.

No big deal to skip this Golden.

The pursuits seem pretty easy (can we do FG1 15 times?), but the 50 key reward is.. Well, now that mythics seem to have overtaken monster sets in importance, how many keys do we actually need?

There are some skill styles you can buy with them, if you haven't already :)

Unfortunately I found the choices rather limited.

This Golden Pursuits has encouraged me to join and level up the Undaunted guild on all of my alt characters, which none of the previous Undaunted events had ever done on their own.

On two accounts I can do 15 pursuits without the need to group up at all.

If I use alts to level Undaunted it will be pretty easy to achieve.

The list of dungeons at the end ..... of those obviously Direfrost cannot be solo-ed, Crypt of Hearts 2 has the cocoon mechanic that is difficult to circumvent, Spindle 2 has the Praxim fight which is annoying but can be done solo and Fungal 2 has the fight where you get chained but I have solo-ed that.

Pick days where the base game pledge is an easy dungeon(basically most of them).

Do everything on normal ofc, use a companion and voila 15 is pretty easy. 🙂
    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!

Suddenly today I also have the 'Earn 1 Rank in the Undaunted Skill Line' one and 1/3 for the other, and I have no idea why. All I can remember doing is some bog standard daily crafting writs, no different from yesterday. None of my characters have been near a Dungeon, Delve, or Undaunted Enclave since yesterday. Weird.

Yeah I found peculiar their choice for the dungeons, definitely not a case that most of them "require" to group up - only Wayrest Sewers 2 and few others were missing; Banished Cells 1 be blessed XD
I get it they want us to group for a Group Dungeon event, but still feels an odd dungeons' choice in a way.

About Bolgrul: his quests give very low rep, so not everyone would be able to gain 3 Undaunted levels just with that.

Dungeon etiquette question from a solo player willing to try to group: When pugging a Dungeon run... What's the expected difficulty that should be set, Normal or Veteran (or VHM), generally?
And if I have a solo build with which I am able to solo Normal DLC Dungeons but that is "role agnostic", how should I present myself to the team and how should I behave in a team (role)?
Do questers typically pug or it's Speedrun?

(I guess I would be better off as Damage Dealer but I suspect everyone would raise an eyebrow seeing I have 35K Health)

@ZOS_Kevin Today I completed the 2nd task requiring "Earn X Ranks in the Undaunted Skill Line". Both yesterday and today I got credit for them while doing my daily crafting writs, some master writs, and attuned another set of tables to feed my GMs. No other game activity has taken place on characters that aren't already at max Undaunted. I can't observe any further since both tasks are completed.
