I might get moderated for this? But I'm repeating hard lore that you can find in the game, in other ES games, and on the wiki with just a little effort. Molag Bal is the King of [snip]. He has [snip] multiple characters in the canon, most famously when he made the original vampire, Lamae Beolfag.
And now his cult has released this beautiful new bed for you to... Well, this is awkward.
I kind of understand how we got here. Maybe you just forgot the lore! Or, it's a new zone, it's exciting to be fighting old enemies, we already have Deadlands furniture for Dagon, who's the god of just destroying the whole world. But it's not as value neutral as generic world destruction. It's accurate to describe it as a [snip] styled bed - a name for Bal you can find, again, in game - and that's weird and uncomfortable and like 60 furnishings in this update were released like this. The [snip] branded furniture -- now a global name in mattresses!
Can we get a name change? Maybe to like... Vampiric? Please. A simple name change would make this a million times less disturbing.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t there an Elder Scrolls game in which the necromancer leader of the Worm Cult was specifically trying to usurp Molag Bal? So… it’s more like the Worm Cult is a Mannimarco thing than a Bal thing in the first place.

This is baffling and completely changes the meaning of the thread. The specifics matter here. I had already significantly self-censored, removing all but the beginning and end letter of the word. Was the problem that it was too comprehensible? That people could understand what I was saying with a token amount of effort?
Changing the words changes the meaning. Unlike what some people here are claiming, words mean things. Words have specific meanings.
This is in the game. As everyone keeps pointing out, this is a rated M game. This is a forum for the game. Why can we not talk about the specific content that was put into the game? What other implemented content are we not allowed to talk about in the words the content itself uses?
Here: Whenever the mods edited my post to refer to Molag Bal, I used the title Vivec gives to him, because he is a god of (snip). Explicitly, in the lore, in multiple places you can find right now, via in game lore books such as here, or on UESP.
And you can have the King of (snip)'s branded bed! Made by his cult, for you! To... Oh dear.
We can avoid this entire, entirely too unpleasant to talk on the forums about conversation by changing the name to something like, for instance, "Dark Daedra," or "Obsidian."
