That's not going to be possible. Like all of the Chapter 'fill the bar' events, they'll be able to fudge the numbers on the backend to make sure it completes.

Yeah I know that. But I do think it would be amusing if we decided en-mass to simply not participate.

not sure ,I remember they stream said they wouldn't fail wall event,so maybe all player stop game this still will finished?

If we fail the wall event, ZOS will summon a hero to destroy the wall.

ZOS Said on the Twitch stream that if a server fails to complete the event then they won't be able to enter Eastern Solstice with the obvious implication then being that it is possible to fail the event.

However that's realistically never going to happen because even if ZOS lets the event drag out to "build tension", ZOS will intervene to make sure that it completes on all servers. Otherwise, imagine having bought the season pass but not being able to access half the content because your server never finished the event. Or imagine playing on PS NA and not being able to access half the content because they never finished the event but those playing on PS EU can access all the content because they did finish the event. It would be too much of a PR nightmare for ZOS to allow it to happen so if they have to then they will fudge the numbers behind the scenes to make sure that all server complete the event.
