Wayshrine Scroll

A few days ago I logged into the EU PC side of ESO just to see what that side offers. I was surprised to find that there was already a character there of the same class, design and name as my main on NA PC. I was further surprised to find that instead of starting in Stros Mo'Kai she started in a Coldharbour themed mini-instance designed with a quest chain tied to a Fold Pursuits chain. One of the rewards from this chain of Gold Pursuits were scrolls that unlocked every wayshrine in the zones they were used. I tried and failed to use one of them in Stormhaven as no one on EU PC would help me get to that zone. No worries. I used that scroll to unlock every wayshrine in Sommerset instead.

I forget the name of those scrolls but I would love to know if they exist for purchase on NA PC so I can unlock all the wayshrines in the zones I haven't done yet on my main. If they are, where are they found and how much do they cost?

Just to avoid any potential future issues I have since deleted that character that I did not create on EUPC. It's no big whoop as I have no intention of playing on both sides of the Atlantic/ Pacific in ESO like I used to in other MMOs. But I would REALLY love to get a half dozen or so of those scrolls to use on my NA PC main if possible.

Danke.

That's the Hero's Return thing, for players who have not logged in to their account for a while (no clear indication on what "a while" is. Evidently you made an EU character long ago enough that you forgot about them, so it was well past the time you could trigger the Hero's Return.

The scroll is, naturally, only available through the Hero's Return, and not sellable. To get one on your main, you just need to not log into PCNA for a few months until Hero's Return is triggered.

Drat. That's too bad but not surprising. That is one AWESOME and powerful scroll and I'm in love with it. I guess I will just have to keep playing the "Travel To Player" lottery to pick up the random wayshrine in the zones I am months or years away from doing. It helps with Surveys and Treasure Maps.

    Thanx for the heads up!

The Hero's Return trigger is weird. I have two accounts -- the second account is one of those free Epic ones. And on both accounts I have characters on both EU and NA. I mainly play on EU, but sometimes on NA, too.

On the free account I usually just get daily login rewards. Maybe do some small stuff. But if I am busy, or on the road, I don't log in. For my main account I can always use Steam Deck so I get at least the daily login rewards.

At one point I had not logged in on my alt account for 3 days and... PCNA was business as usual, but PCEU triggered the Hero's Return. That was strange. Why only one of them got the Hero's Return while the other didn't? And why already after 3 days? That's hardly a long pause.

But anyway, the Hero's Return was actually quite fun. And because of that I started to play a bit more on my alt acco and now I am trying to see how far I can get my build on base game only without ESO+. It's going surprisingly well, although requires a lot more planning than with ESO+.
