Mount can't swim in oil

In clockwork city, if you try to swim with your mount in the "waters" near the halls of regulation, you get stuck and can't move until you dismount.
Also if you jump stay stuck mid fall animation :

Alaya✭✭✭They can't swim in the ink in Apocrypha either. It seems like in some places you can move but others you can't. You end up getting stuck and dismounting.5 -

Edit: I notice in your screenshot you have a companion out. Dismiss them and try. Companions have been known to interfere with all sorts of things.

Not limited to one spot, can't swim anywhere in Clockwork city.
Strangely, my companion followed me into the water/oil and seems to be walking around under the liquid (still on his horse).Edited by FatOldGamer on 18 September 2025 02:030 -

I have no issue swimming in the oil in any spot in Clockwork. I do not have a companion out, as this has been mentioned.0 -

M1SHAAN✭✭✭✭Here's my experience:- I zoned into clockwork city with a companion out, and headed to the lake with the delve in it.
- Jumping into the oil mounted, I got stuck in the fall animation as others have described.
- I unsummoned my companion and tried again, but got stuck again, even without the companion out.
- I reload my ui. Now my mount can swim in oil!
- Now I think I have it all figured out, so I start recording to try to document the behavior I observed... and I can't reproduce the bug.
- I tried reloading ui with my companion out, zoning into/out of asylum sanctorium with my companion out, relogging, nothing.
So, I did not in fact have it all figured out, but hopefully this information will be helpful anyways
