twice as fast as the fastest mount sprinting. How the hell did the devs let that one slip?

Once upon a time I beat down hundreds of sorcs to 10% at which point they just spammed one button and got away from my entire raid, over and over and over again.

Another time my raid wiped other raids, at which point 2 of their sorcs would teleport away, and back again to try and rez their dead raid, which in turn made my raid get delayed while we had to wait for the other raid to release otherwise the sorcs would just rez them.

This is why I rage, you delay my raid, and you always get away, no matter how slowed or rooted you are.

As much as I want Bolt Escape to get looked at, and as much as I love discussing this with other players, I am really getting sick of seeing hundreds of threads on the same freaking subject. Go and join any one of the other dozen or so threads. I mean, honestly...

Honestly, does it really matter if he has the fastest horse or not? In reality he's going to be stuck "in combat" for the next 5 minutes and unable to mount.

why stop them from rezing? I mean, if you wiped them out, let them get back up...and kill them again. Its more points IMO.

rofl HE downs hundreds of sorcs to 10%, then they run away from his raid .... so his raid can't do the last 10% of dmg?

just thought that was funny ....

DK: Fiery grip-15m (can be morphed to 22m)
NB: Teleporting stike-22m (can be morphed to stun, make target take 30% more damage on next attack
Templar: focused charge-22m (can be morphed to make casting enemies off balanced)
Sorcerer: Bolt escape- 15m (can be morphed to stun opponent and do minor damage)

are you saying not one person in your raid had the thought to use one of these abilities to counter the sorcs ability? I'm afraid I don't see how that makes sorcs OP.

I can't speak to the other classes, but the DK chain-grab seems to only works once. Whether this is due to a bug or how it's supposed to work, I can only pull the Sorc back once.
This is how it always goes: Sorc uses Bolt Escape, I use Chain, it drags him back to me. Then he Bolt Escapes a second time, then I Chain a second time, it hits him but doesn't drag him back. Then he Bolt Escapes a third time and he's out of range of my Chain.

Chain is a bad counter because of the auto immunity system.

Gap closers are better counters because even when they are immune to the CC portion of the skill you will still close the gap on them. Eg. Invasion will not apply the stun after the first charge, but it will still bring you into melee range and do damage.

There are already several topics about this and many people explaining in detail of how to counter this ability. Is the search function already too hard to use?

even if chain is a bad example, there's also dragon leap. I'm not saying bolt escape isn't annoying, but it's really not OP. There's plenty of counters and the offensive abilities are better than bolt escape. People just don't like losing out on a kill.

I'm not sure if you are trolling or really that ignorant? Your complaint is basically that it worked exactly as intended LOL. You state you killed entire raids then whine about 2 that got away? Are you a spoiled child? Your greed to kill all that moves and allow no survivors delayed you, that is on you.

Wow, use an ultimate to counter an ability that is spammable, great idea. There are no hard counters to Bolt Escape.

FYI, Ambush (teleporting strike morph) only stuns monsters.

That simply is not true. Good players counter me all the time. However I'm not saying how cause I don't want to get caught more LOL Suffice it to say all classes have ways to stop it and catch you. If you don't have one on your hotbar that is on you.
