is there a way to turn off the compass distances?

I'm not fussed by the inaccuracy of the measurements. All I need it for is to know if I am close or far.

Just wanted to follow up here. We have shared this with the team for their knowledge and to see if any work can be done to accommodate asks. Nothing to report right now, but we have shared with the team.

While they're at it, could they maybe make the numbers make sense? Because they're so hilariously bad, it beggars belief. According to the system nobody asked for, my character is approximately six meters tall.

Please tell me that these measurements have nothing to do with how skill ranges are calculated.

I'm pretty sure these numbers correlate to skill distance. Take Wall of Elements or Combat Prayer as examples. They're supposedly 8m wide but their width equates to about 2 character heights (I like mine as small as possible) so like 4m high for the smallest Breton right?

Yeah, from what I've observed this seems to be a fundamental issue with the game; everything is visually scaled as if the distance is feet, but the reported distances are all in meters. It's always been that way. Just pretend it says feet. At least it's just a game and not a Mars orbiter (those who know, know)
