Quest: Honor Bound Queststarter, Solstice

Hello there,
anyone encountered that the Queststarter-Note "Reward for Missing Steed!" is missing?
So, you can start that quest in two ways, right. You speak to the NPC ... or you read the note.
Thing is, for my mainchar I can not find that note! (But do not want to start the quest through the npc, cause than the note is missing in my lore library I think) I asked a frind to port and travel to the notes location and he can see and read it. I traveld to him and also when I am gouped up with him, he can see it and me not.
But with an other character of mine, I can start the quest with the note. Kind of odd...
@ZOS can you pls make the note for all my chars visible`? (perhaps the location of the note is just under the map for my main, who knows)

It doesn't, nor does logging out and logging back in.
OP I have the same problem. I can see it on some characters, and not others. I really want to read the dang note on my main, but it doesn't show up!1 -

TL;DR: If you have already completed the quest The Stubbornness of Nords, the book will be gone forever.
I was lucky enough to finding this out before I completed that quest, so I abandoned it and voilá, the book magically reappeared. I read it, completed Honor Bound and the book is still there post-quest.
I then did a test: went and picked up The Stubbornness of Nords again, talked to Britt the Bold (second step) then went right back to the book and yup, it was gone. Dropped the quest and it reappeared again.
