Bug Reports for Hero's Return QoL Feature

Please report any issues you run into while testing the Hero's Return QoL Feature in this thread. In general, we prefer you to use /bug in-game but if you’d rather submit a report here, please give us as much information as possible, including screenshots and/or video if applicable. Thank you!

Completing the Subclassing quest (could possibly apply to any quest) locked me out of Vanus's quest. Other characters can't take the quest as well.

I am unable to complete the first objective of the second part of the hero's return golden pursuits (the one called "ride out to adventure"). The first objective says "consume 1 stat enhancing food or drink" and I've consumed over 10 different foods and drinks and this objective will not complete.

I had the very same problem. I eventually logged out and logged in as an under level 50 character I had and ate some food. The endeavor then flagged as completed for me. I'm not sure if character level has anything to do with it or if the character needs to have no food or drink buffs active before consuming something.

The riding lessons granted as rewards should not be Character Bound. They should simply be account Bound so the rewards can used on a character besides the one who claimed the reward. Now I need to destroy those rewards because I claimed them on a character with max riding stats.

Stat Enhacing food or drink on your Golden endevours isnt working properly ate food 14 chiken breasts 16 Drink of Mead, 4 rice a corn and wont activate as though i did do it even though i did do it.

Deconstructing items does not appear to progress the Pursuit for research or deconstruct items. It does progress when you start research.

I did not actually get any Flame Atronach Crates for Completing Better Together.

I'm unsure if this is intended behavior or not but Crafting Tomorrow and Better Together both became visible at the same time.

Additionally, progress on Pursuits that you haven't unlocked yet occurs so when you unlock them you can be much of the way done from the start.

I got immediately stuck in a menu loop.

Because I rarely play on the NA server (the one currently copied to the PTS) when I first logged into a character I was prompted to try Hero's Return. I accepted, went through the loading screen and was met with this. Clicking 'Enter Hero's Return' gives me a message that I'm already in Hero's Return and clicking Exit gives me a warning that it's recommended I play it first and asking if I'm sure I want to leave.

It looks like there's no way to close this menu without leaving the area, and I can't move my character or do anything else while it's open.

Eventually I confirmed I wanted to leave (expecting it to kick me back to the world) and instead that opened a different menu with info on login rewards and golden pursuits, which I was able to close normally so I could finally start Hero's Return.

All of this was confusing enough as a current player with some idea how this game and it's menus are supposed to work, it would be extremely confusing as a new player. (Not to mention a bug in the tutorial is a very poor reintroduction.)

If the intention is that the notification stays on screen after you load into the tutorial zone then the messaging on the buttons needs to be made clearer (ideally the big 'start hero's return' button should close then menu and let you, well, start Hero's Return). Alternatively the menu needs to close down when you go through the loading screen so it's not still there when you're trying to start the tutorial.

If you are using an established character from the past, it starts you with the short scenario helping Vanus.

After which you roll into the Golden Pursuits part of Hero's Return and earn all the free stuff

If you start a New character, and have been away for the allotted time, you don't get the option to help Vanus. You get the option to either start at 1st level in Wailing prison or Start at 3rd level on your starting Island. You at that point have access to earn the Heros Return free stuff.
