Regarding Miri
These are her stats:
Mirri Class Skills
Deadly Assassin
Living Shade
Soul Thief
DEADLY ASSASSIN!! SOUL THIEF!!
Yet she goes nuts if I take her into the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary; loose status if I use the Blade of Woe; but no problem if I/we sneak up and use any other backstabbing attacks / surprise attacks. Did the developers have a massive brain hiccup? Otherwise this companion sounds like the one for the assassins.
Of course the developers penalty for using the Blade of Woe is 5 degrees off the bubble (pretty much of a D**** Fer Move in the first place).

✭The Blade of Woe is perceived to permanently send the soul's of it's victims to the Void.
As a result, it's perceived as one of the worst ways to kill someone.
The Dark Brotherhood doesn't necessarily have the greatest rep even with people that are comfortable with killing.
Inside, the Sanctuary was … pretty ghastly. I mean, just really tasteless, decorated like a teenaged Worm Cultist's idea of sinister. The Dark Brotherhood were like kids who'd found a dark cave and decided to play assassin.

It appears that they "play" assassin very nicely. It beats all that BAM BAM, CLASH BANG, ZOZZ ZAPP . . . ing that I see going on.
Then again the old BB and Bird Farm drivers; and the Reds in particular; called us Boat sailors pirates even in the 60's, so perhaps that is why I am comfortable with it. We could really send souls into the void from the Boomers.Edited by CrushDepth on 10 August 2025 13:060 -
