Wabbajack as new artifact

What about the wabbajack as a new artifact next to volendrung that does some unforseen random ish things to create more chaos and mayhem?

    This actually has the potential to not only bring fun in a stale cyrodiil but to also prevent boring fights from lasting too long.

    For example, if a keep fight lasts for too long, maybe the staff could allow you to teleport everyone involved in an arena to fight to the death, no sieges weapon allowed. That would be a nightmare to implement and probably also a bit broken for the attackers but we already have volendrung in the game so...

    If they implement any new weapons I'd like to see them do so in a way which empowers lower populations vs the zerg. Currently Volendruung punishes low populations because of the speed in which a higher population can swarm a keep.

    This way they could change the weapon spawn based on what the current campaign population is.


    It would be really funny to see a weapon buff your allies to emp level based on your remaining keeps - for example the fewer keeps you have the stronger you would all become

    conversely the more keeps you have the weaker you would all become (but perhaps some non-power related adjustment such as AP earned increased).

    Also weapons which invert stats would also be quite funny to see, For example the more resistance your enemies have the weaker they are, set bonuses turned off etc.

    Volendrung was the single handed worst thing they added to pvp. That whole dev pass was aweful for the game.

    The biggest issue in pvp has been performance due to clumping players up and how group mechanics work......so they made destroyable bridges that force the whole faction in one direction causing them to clump up. Then to top it off, with volendrung goes a step further and makes a center point for the entire server to clump up and bog down performance.

    Centralizing players is the last thing cyro design needs. If anything cyro needs to break down group play to enable players to solo more. Things like making resource flags necessary for keep takes. Or make mount speed and stamina low enough ganking is possible. At a certain point these old gameplay "annoyances" are necessary for the core function of cyrodil. Having the only gameplay viable being 12 man ball group pvdoor will not bode well for the future population retention.
