Whats going on with drops?

Have been watch for 3 of the needed 1 hour and only 15% filled - and its not like its not progressing, it is, but at 10% of the speed it should?

    For some reason twitch drops on the phone work well but on pc they are always super buggy and dont work half the time. Any insights? Using chrome.

    Only the currently open tab gets drop progress on pc, iirc. Also, muting a stream stops drop progress for one reason ir another. Hope this helps!

    Firefox allows you to mute the whole tab, and it still counts for the drop progress.

    Firefox allows you to mute the whole tab, and it still counts for the drop progress.

    I don't even use the Firefox tab mute feature; just muting using the video control's own volume mute feature still counts towards drops for me.

    And it keeps counting when switching to a different tab or simply minimising Firefox and getting on with other things.

    Good to know! I know OP mentioned using Google Chrome, so I don't know if that applies to both. I don't have chrome but it's something to look into in case the web browsers work differently, right?

    At least in the past having a tab muted in the background didnt impact drops...dont know if something changed...
