Makeshift One Hand & Rune concept using a Scribed Ability

Been paying a little more attention to Scribing recently because of the Pursuits, and since Subclassing helped turn my Nightblade into a Spellsword, I scribed her a couple Shock abilities. I then played around with one, and discovered it acts a lot like what many of us wish the game already had. Otherwise known as,

"ZOS I want One Hand & Rune!"

ZOS: "We have One Hand & Rune at Home sweetie."

I'm just saying they could very easily create 1H/Unarmed skill-lines given you wouldn't need to create any motifs... (I imagine a spellsword would just be leveraging scribing in conjunction with 1H skills).

While that does look like a Spellsword, it's a bit of a pity that you loose a gear piece and don't benefit from any weapon passives.

I do long for the day that ZOS introduces a proper One Handed & Spell/Rune, or maybe even just One Handed, skill line to the game though.

A partial Unarmed Magicka skill set exists in-game too, ever since Elsweyr, though it's only three abilities that NPC had. A Flame Punch, Flame Kick, and a channeled Flamethrower.
