What rewards can be obtained from BG anyway?

I think I saw in some greyed-out motifs that they are rewards for BG. But while I play and sometimes win BG on a daily basis I just get the usual trash in the purple boxes with a few set pieces that I don't need.

So are there any special rewards at all to get from winning a BG?

Gear, transmute crystals, motifs (battleground runner, pit demon, etc) and rewards for completing achievements like titles and emotes. They should add more achievements

Only thing worth it IMO is transmutes. Otherwise BGs are very un-rewarding. I usually play a couple for fun, get bored since they haven't been fixed whatsoever since their new implementation, especially in the ranked 4v4 playlist, and then dip out. Currently in the market for something new to play, but it's tough since im on console.

Thanks! How is the drop rate of the motifs and such? As of now I still miss drops if items like this...

Anyone knows if motifs still drop? Either the drop rate is abysmally low or they stopped dropping at all...

as of now the reward boxes are absolutely uniteresting and I wonder why I actually should do the effort to play bg and even more to win one.

Motif pages drop from the box you get for winning your first bg of the day (battlemaster's reward box)

I have a question: I do get purple boxed once a day (at least occasionally as I am not such a good pvp player). But I hardly do get any bg style page at all.

For the golden one I have to be ranked higher than 100 in the leaderboard, correct?

Then you must have all the bg style pages (minus Galeskirmish).
You have to be in the top100 to get the weekly leaderboard mail. Note that this mail is quite erratic and you sometimes get it before the countdown ends (I sometimes got it a day before it ended lol).

Oh ok. Thanks! I will check. As I will never be good enough to be in the top 100 I think I can just stop playing bg then
