    its a vicious skill. not many know about how truely scary it's pitiful damage and radius is. that needs to be nerfed asap. i'm sure it's useful in 1 very specific instance of the game that is outside of zos's set parameters so it'll get obliterated soon.

    ~15% crit chance when flanking, 10% crit damage, and triple bow sounds perfectly fine to me :lol:

    Even without Assassination, Fatecarver / Herald of the Tome has always been ridiculous.

    There are no such outliers in PVP but if anything animal companions is close to it, not restoring light, storm calling or assassination. Gravelord is a close second tho

    Lmao true, so instead of nerfing beam, just kill the Arcanist's ability to engage with Subclassing or use Weapon skills by gutting the class mastery script on banner.

    They should just have 2 campaigns, a normal one and a Vengeance one (but will all map markers enabled). . That way everyone is happy. Since Vengeance is loved mostly by people who wouldn't play PvP otherwise, it wouldn't have an impact on your standard campaign anyway.

    so as a pvp main i actually did quite like it. sure it needs some tweaking but it wasn't a bad experience.

    This was/is my impression as well. I don't know anyone who likes vengeance mode. We just want our circa 2018 cyrodiil back.

    They can't balance both PvE and PvP without upsetting one side, but PvPers in general are never happy regardless

    Vengeance solved the ball group problem and they still weren't happy

    They would have an easier time balancing PvP in Vengeance with the different skills and no sub classing which they may or may not add later.

    I don't even think they should add sets back to Vengeance since it was nice having everyone able to do damage and it just came down to the most important factor of open world pvp bigger zerg wins

    Send the sweaty PvPers to battlegrounds where they belong, then that would also solve the people complaining about bg queue times since it would increase the amount of people queuing (should have random bg queue be different from the sweat queue because most people who do random bgs are running around naked light attacking the air just trying to get their daily done, could even make the random queue a vengeance inspired mode where you just give them a template character to play)

    Not going to happen to satisfy the PvE world. Skills need to function differently sure but nothing like what vengeance is.

    Unfortunately, I feel this is exactly what they're trying to do, and it's one of the reasons why many "sweaty" players are leaving the game.

    People aren't happy with Vengeance because it feels like playing a slower version of ESO, without theorycrafting. Even if it performs better, it's ultimately a watered-down open world PvP experience. That said, Vengeance is still in its early stages, and improvements are still possible.

    As for battlegrounds, the term "sweaty" is too vague. A proper MMR system based on many factors that are not based on medals (perma blocking Pariah cro on flags farming points, doesn't mean a good MMR player) is needed.
    Also, the idea that sweaty PvPers "belong in BGs" is inaccurate. Many competitive players actually prefer IC or Cyrodiil over battlegrounds.

    Back to the original topic, there are still several elephants in the room. The Assassination skill line, for example, is a must-have in PvE and extremely strong in PvP. Followed by skill lines, for PVP, such as Animal Companion, Grave Lord, and Restoring Light.

    Fatecarver is another problem, too easy to use, pairs too well with strong sets, scales efficiently with Crux (which is also easy to build atm), and yet in PvP it often doesn’t hit properly or connect at all. It likely needs tuning, but nerfing it too much could make it not even worth to try it in PvP. Most hardcore "sweaty" will tell you that any ability that has a cast time and can be interrupted is not an optimal pick in PvP.
    Still, I support the idea of nerfing the overall Fatecarver DPS, so either by reducing the damage or reducing the generation of crux (ex. limiting banner)

    They buffed Fatecarver by 8% when they cut it down to six targets. If they and the community in general think it's too powerful why go after the class mastery why not just take 4% off of Fatecarver? If it's still too much then take the other 4%. Seems really easy to balance that power without any disruption of anything else.

    My Memory of Cyro 2018:
    24 Groups (yeah)
    Try to enter a Castle under Siege from the Backdoor to defend: 2-5 Minute Loadscreen - You're dead, Castle is turned.
    Resurrect on a Tent: 2-5 Minute Loadscreen - 75% You're dead
    Resurrect in the Base: 2-5 Minute Loadscreen - But You're not dead
    Loadscreens left and right when you on you're way to the next Fight.
    FPS < 5 in a bigger Fight and you're pressing Keys hoping something happens.

    and so on.

    Normally I doesn't play any PvP anymore, but Vengeance have sparked my Interrest again.

    Probably because every pvper liking Vengeance is not recogniced as a pvper anymore automatically loosing all his skills and becoming a pve zergling (even when fighting outnumbered).
