stuck in character load

I'm online but I have a black screen - no world - I can open mails and open friends - but no world. That's a first.

Well I got in. Wanted to get in Imperial City. Got an infinite loading. Crashed out. When trying to log back in I got the message 'account already logged in'. And now back at infinite login screen.

Nice we don't get any communication on what's wrong with the servers.

Recently paid for a whole year of ESO plus - left wondering if this is only affecting subscribers.

Some kind of compensation, even crowns, might mitigate the lost time.

This issue goes way back, not just recently, as mentioned earlier, but I guess their business model is based on those who pay are probably going to have to go cold turkey to leave, so screw them.

2nd. Logged my main to do writs, logged next char took about 20 minutes total

It takes about 20 minutes from log-in screen to reach your character in-game
you guys need to have some patience if you want to survive around

Zenimax is working effectively to free up space in ESO Servers in favor of other project. you have to get used and tolerate that

Try reading what people are experiencing.

People are waiting 20 minutes or more and being kicked or being put into infinite loading screens.

If you are lucky eneough to get in you're getting kicked from loading screens.

Again 20 minutes isn't anything anyone should experience on a AAA game.

You are one of the lucky ones that isn't kicked.

I've logged into the character screen and then into the world, where it's running normally, but both parts took a lot longer than normal to load on PC EU, normal time on PC NA.

I'm also been unable for a few weeks to close the launcher immediately after exiting the game, I have to wait for the "running" message to clear which was never the case before.

Several attempts later and lots of loading screen wait times, I'm eventually in!!

And what do I do straight away? TP to another zone! DOH!!!!

Now stuck again....

Perhaps that's the new game... Login in and resist the temptation to do anything...

It's been 4 hours. I know it's the middle of the night but any organisation should have alerts for when something breaks during the non core staff hours, an on call rota, and a plan of what to do and who to wake. Our department manager gets a phone alert whenever our website goes down, no matter the time of day.

This is the bare minimum of what should be happening but yet still all we get is a banner while they seem to hope the problem will fix itself and we all go away...

During database maintenance on June 25, ZOS made some changes. Since then, performance has been affected and errors have increased — and why are the EU servers mostly affected?

The bar is on the floor and we have entered hell.

No clue what they did on the June 25th patch day but man, it certainly did SOMETHING to tank the performance so badly.

The first few times it happened I suspected DDOS attacks, but now I'm not so sure anymore. I really wished ZOS would communicate with more transparency on the matter.
