Returning player: who makes the best eso builds right now?

Hi forum friends. I just came back after a 6 month break. I just need some builds to update my characters. I mainly do dungeons and maybe a trial here and there. I not looking for niche builds.
Also are subclass builds effective in trials? I'm not sure if I'll be doing trials yet just trying to get back into the game. I've played eso for many yea4s and I'm aware that most trials guild peeps end up using the most effective cookie cutter builds cos they get the job done. I am not adverse to such builds if they work well then why not us them.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I use Skinnycheeks for DPS builds and Hyperioxes for Tank/Solo builds.

As for subclass builds in trials, yeah they're effective. Obscenely effective. If it's one of the current meta builds, absurdly and obscenely effective.

I'd put off making many new builds until the next patch. There's going to be some changes. I'd ageee with the choices of the others for builds too if you wanted to make one.

I use hack the minotaur when I want some off the wall silly build for overland or easy dungeon farming.

Most of my builds for doing vet content right now are either Xynode or Dooma.

I've looked at Hyperioxes builds and they look REALLY good, but for me they are way over my skill level :D

Also spend a lot of time watching Skinny and NinjaPulls video for information, but somehow I missed that they actually did builds too.

Skinnycheeks also has a discord, DPS Nerds. There you can just hang out and watch what people are testing or add feedback from your own test builds. You'll be months ahead of the curve using that discord.

I don't understand why people keep recommending Hack. His youtube channel is full of outrageous claims, but the builds are either themed overland setups or some version of a commonly used build (like Oakensorc). I suppose, any build is better than none, but if you are going to use a premade build, then why not to choose one that's actually been tested in all kinds of content and includes parses and in-depth info?

But yeah, I guess clickbait still rules youtube :D

Although, Skinny explains how builds work and gives you examples so you can make your own build suited for your playstyle. If you want more straight forward keys-in-hand build Ninja Pulls is excellent. The Gameroom makes pretty ok builds if you want more quirky builds that are not necessarily adhering to the meta.

For parse dummies Charles and ry make pretty good builds, but I don't think ry has done any U46 builds yet.

If you want to solo a lot of content and want medium sweaty builds, for example Huppelihiiri is pretty good. For full on sweaty end game soloing DLC trifectas, Lucht, hands down. But you will need practice, practice, practice and hotkeys for all the million setups in your Wizard's Wardrobe.

This. Even if you don't do group DPS (I don't), Skinny is such a good resource on what works well, and gives you a very solid base with which to make your own builds if you don't want to just use what's best right now, regardless of your level or experience.
Anything clickbaity that caters to "casuals" I tend to avoid, as a casual player, because it feels more like a sales pitch than an informative resource. I've been loving Hyperioxes recently too, for Solo content.
Their Discord communities are a good place to go to for help, too.

Imo Skinny Cheeks and Hyperoxies make the best builds. Skinny Cheeks probably makes builds that are easier to play, but both are really good IMO.

Deltia stopped playing and doesn't even play the game anymore. He cashed in by selling Deltia Gaming as a brand sometime around last December. I think he stuck around for like 6 months more after the sale. But after the initial sale he no longer had any input or decision making on creative control, marketing, etc..

Basically it's a defunct brand in a growing list of gaming brands who've reached EOL.

If you're looking for a bit more variety, checking esologs.com is a good way to see what builds are actually being used. You do have to know a bit--for example, people might be wearing a parse-only set, and you can't fully see how their abilities are Scribed. But I find it helpful to compare how many different set, weapon, class, and skill combinations can still perform at a high level (or not).

Ive been looking for someone who does really good ONE Bar builds, for both SOLO PVE and PVP. Im looking into some of the suggestions above but most (aside from Dooma and Hack) dont do one bar builds. I know people have ALOT to say about the one bar but I like not having to swap. Ive only been playing eso for 3 years now and not full time. Ive never been a big gamer until my Husband got me playing this game and I love it. Im slowly learning the ins and outs for builds but find it difficult to come up with my own just yet. Ive gotten by with Hack up to this point but found myself struggling doing harder content. I recently switched over to Dooma Builds and proud to say Im doing Dungeons and WB SOLO. Everything is now switching to subclassing so Im trying to adjust to that and update builds. I dont see myself doing a ton of PVP but want to do a character build for PVP to see what I can do over in Cyrodil.
Any Advice on who else has some pretty great One Bar builds to try would be helpful.
    Thank You in advance.
