Where are the Soltice Treasure Maps?

Apologies if this has already been asked and answered but I had trouble looking.
Are there any treasure maps for Western Solstice and if so how do we get them?
I've roamed plenty in the zone, done all of the achievements (working on the dailies) but am yet to see a a treasure map.

Treasure maps in eso drop randomly everywhere, so whenever you get a treasure map it can be for deshaan or for solstice you don't have to be in solstice to get the map.
I personally got 1 few days ago, I put it up for sale don't remember if it was sold or not.

I got one last week, Solstice 2. Drop rates are low because there are many zones each with many maps, meaning the odds of getting the map you want are probably below 1%.

I have never gotten one. They are harder to find then pieces for the Oaken Soul, Pale Order and Wild Hunt rings.

It's RNG on top of RNG... you have to roll a treasure map in your loot and then you have to roll the "right" one out of all the maps in all the zones in the game. Frustrating for sure, especially for a brand new zone. But as people get the things they want from the Solstice maps, they will start to become more common and cheaper on traders like maps from the older zones.

208 total Treasure Maps that can drop in game. 3 of them being Solstice.

So that begs the question.. If a treasure map drops, is it a random selectin from the total pool of 208 making it a 1.4% chance for Solstice maps to drop? Or is it one of the 44 zones randomly selected first, and then a random selection from there? Which would be a 2.2%.

Given the game's heavy use of loot tables, I'm guessing the latter. Not that it matters as 1.4% vs 2.2% is negligible.

i got 2-3 during an event. i was able to get some leads, then just decided to go all in and buy maps until i got all the leads. that prolly cost half a mill. but i've got all the leads now, so i can move on and forget about the rng upon rng upon rng that is this horrible lead design

This makes it especially "great" when leads are tied to the Treasure Chests, like on Telvanni Peninsula for example...

I'm hoping to see them at the IA merchant. So annoying that so many furnishings are gated behind treasure map leads :(

Got several in chests of Craglorn (one had "CE" in its name; don't know what that means).

"CE" stands for "Collector's Edition." Maps with "CE" in the name were originally obtained by purchasing the special Collector's Edition version of a chapter or DLC, which usually included things like a special mount, a non-combat pet, maps, experience scrolls, and sometimes an outfit style that can be applied at no cost at an outfit station. I've never heard of those CE maps dropping within the game, but who knows?

As far as where to obtain treasure maps from in general, it seems like they're more likely to drop from thieves' troves than from regular treasure chests, but that's just my casual observation.

Got lucky today, but what's more striking isn't getting two Solstice maps in the same thieves trove. It's getting the same map twice, and stacked. I was certain some sort of glitch would happen if I looted them, but nope, I somehow managed to get treasure maps stacked in my inventory.

Next I'll try to launder them and see what happens. Might carry this little stack around for a while as a little curio.

Interesting, as there is no Collector's Edition of the "Chapter"!

I get the impression that treasure map drop chance is 'weighed'.

Reason why I get this impression is because at least for me treasure maps for Galen and Southern Elsweyr (both zones with only 2 treasure map locations) are overwhelmingly represented on drops vs The Deadlands or The Reach for instance (which are also 2 map zones).

I think they just want to boost the average playtime, that's why we have so many boss farming events, super rare recipes, leads that drop from treasure maps, etc.
