Is Steam not working for everybody?

After ESO EU server problems... now we have Steam problems. Still cant play, not only ESO, but every Steam game.
Is this an issue for everybody's playing thru Steam?
How to have news from Steam about game connections?

it may be fixed. i booted up the laptop just to see... it would not bring up eso or steam at first. after about two mins, it brought it up and i'm logged in on it now. pcna on steam

If you run Downdetector you'll see it's a server connection issue across - I imagine all - games.

I had an issue today with the launcher being updated and shutting down immediately (Steam, windows 11). I followed an advice in this thread

to temporarily disable the Defender to allow the launcher to update and then enable it again. Worked for me.

I was just playing TES3:Morrowind on Steam and had no issue saving and loading via Steam's cloud saves. I haven't tried ESO yet, but was about to log on for the evening. If I have trouble, I'll try the tip about Defender and updating Steam, but as far as I know there have been no problems with it today on my Windows 11 computer.
