Arx Corinium normal boss Ganakton the Tempest

Is it me or what, I have soloed Arx Corinium many times with no problems. All of a sudden the second boss Ganakton the Tempest has somehow gained HM level of difficulty. He seems to permanently to be able to pin me to the ground and do massive shock damage. This on normal difficulty, which I have never come across before, as this being hard difficulty mechanics. Has something happened in the last update. I did notice there wasn't the option of difficulty as I entered. I also waited for it to reset before I tried again with the same result.

    It's a bug that will be fixed in the next patch.

    Just ran into this today, was wondering [snip] was happening. Good to know it’s just a bug.

    Wow how do they manage to bug ancient content like this? Not a great look. We had a couple very confused newer players in my social guild... it takes a bit of searching to find out that it's actually a bug... should be included in the u46 known issues list... stuff like this can rapidly turn new players off of the game.

    There's usually random bugs that pop up in year 1 content or in other areas with each update. Usually they're minor like audio or visual, but sometimes they can be pretty major. I would guess it's because reusing assets and modifying them but forgetting or not knowing its being used as a pointer for something else. Take for example of reusing a rock asset and enlarging it for a new zone, but now that same rock in some long forgetting base game delve has also increased in size and blocks access to the boss because it wasn't using its own values when it was originally created.

    There is already a report and DEV comment on this issue. I do hope it does get fixed soon.

    That gives me PTSD .. farming arx corinium, trying to get the medusa flame staff before sticker books ever existed .. thank gods that bug existed.
