Carnival Crates

I just wanted to hop on here and voice my disappointment with the Carnival Crates. I’ve got 8000 crown bundle (25 crates) at the beginning when the crates just dropped, and another 8000 bundle (25 crates) today.

Most of the items that dropped from it was furnishing?? No recall, no emotes, no personality. I spend such a substantial amount of money trying to get the dancer recall and personality. It just feels like a money scam at this point.

Drop rate in 50 crates… it’s ridiculous.

Please ZOS do better!!

I agree, I wish there were guaranteed Epic/Legendary drops every X crates. After getting very little or bad luck, I feel way less incentivized to get more. Having something to look forward to would be encouraging.

Bought the 25 crate bundle too.

The best drops (by rarety) were 2 legendaries, both XP scrolls.

Had to buy everything I wanted with endeavours.

My gf also bought 50 crates, as she wanted the guar that much.
I just saw her pulling blue cards over and over again, which got turned into gems right away.

Same here. Bought about 50 crates total this month. No personality. No Apex. Really getting fed up with the High risk low reward of crown crates in general. A lot of folk would love to buy that dancer personality alone but no. ZOS wants to put everything in their crates and nothing new in the store. Sick of it. Sick of their FOMO greedy practices. I'm at the point ZOS can take their crates and keep it and we can let the rich and wealthy that can buy 1000 plus crates get everything while the rest of us suffer.

I literally refuse to buy any more crates because I'm sick of the gambling. I get they need to make money but they really need to change their practices. There's barely been any new costumes or personalities or anything in the crown store since High Isle..

Something has definitely changed for the much worse from when crates started years ago.

I specifically remember during multiple seasons almost always getting at least ONE apex mount when I would purchase a significant number of crates. Often more. Now, you basically get nothing.

Even if you didn't get what you wanted, you used to at least come away with something respectable.

This current season has been the worst yet in regard to actually getting anything even remotely good from cards.

It has turned in to basically expecting absolutely nothing but garbage to turn into gems which you then have to spend in order to get anything good.

The small amount of fun of being surprised by anything good has been totally sucked out.

Noticed that too. I also just realized normally they give us a couple of free crate when we purchase a new chapter and they haven't dont that this time around either. They really changed their crate models

Craftable furniture in crown crates... *SMH*

Is that going to be a thing now?

Crates just lost value for me because I can craft almost every piece of furniture in the same except for the things from Solstice. I mean seriously, if you guys were going to but craftable stuff in the crates, why not put things in from the new area?

It's just RNG though isn't it. I brought the 25 crates at the start and from them got 2x Apex rewards, the dance and indrik. Got a few legendaries and then enough duplics to be able to buy the costume with gems, so from the 25 crates got 3 Apex rewards which was pleasing enough.

but yes, wholeheartedly agree, anything craftable shouldn't be in the loot table.

Welcome to gambling 101.

Loot crates across any game ever are always bad. Period. It's your money, you spend it how you like it, but you're gambling money. The crates are known to be a massive scam. I'd avoid them at all costs.

I caved and got 5 more crates. Got the carnival dress but still no dancer

That's gotta be like a new record for me
few dozen crates no dancer.

I know i'ts been said a milion times over but it's still so weird that dancer was previewable on pts, it's listed on collectibles but it's a crate exclusive.

The crates are known by like 100% of the playerbase, to be an outright scam, with no reason to buy them other than maybe collecting gems and the bundle incentives costume, recall, whatever), or waste your money.
