What is known about Thaddeus Cosma

Seems like a potentially important figure in the game, especially since he can manipulate time. Anyone know any other sources of lore on this guy?

I think uesp has everything we know so far. There isn‘t more as we only encountered him two or three times in ESO.

From my interpretation I got from the character, he seems like either someone from the very earliest years in Tamriel's forgotten History, or someone from FAR into the future, like late 4th Era or even the 5th, if there is one. He speaks almost like a modern day Scientist, and with the confident Intellect of Chronomancy on par with a Psijic.

Partly related, did anyone else notice there seems to be a connection between Tonal Magic and Time?

He’s not necessarily important as a person, he’s a part of an organization. Time travel is a Dwemer thing, which is probably why he’s dressed like that despite being an imperial. Skyrim I think is the game that introduced tonal time travel, as in Blackreach you summon a dragon if you Shout at the false sun.
