Wall of Elements, Autumn Leaves

Currently this auto changes visuals based on type of dps staff equipped. As Wall of Elements does, itself.

This would be 10,000 times MORE COOL if did not inherit Wall of Elements auto changing based on staff equipped.

Instead, how about 3 icons for Wall of Elements styles, for this. One for flame staves, one for lightning staves, one for frost staves, and let the player pick which to apply to Wall of Elements.

As the entire purpose of styles was for fun visual flavor and customizing skill visuals, so for my HA NB and sorc, let them pick fiery autumn leaves, and enjoy it, as looks awesome! Without requiring me to equip a flame staff.

It’s probably because of letting other players know which wall it is. You can tell the difference between green or purple element walls because the fx are different even if the color is the same. Here the fx are different but the color is the same. Changing color and fx is bound to cause complaints.

I was wondering why the frost staff wasn't showing up yellow... looked more like frozen leaves.

Perhaps, but relying on colors to tell which wall of elements has been placed, ignores people who are color-blind, and they won't be able to tell one wall of elements from another, based on colors.

Hope they reconsider skill styles, the purpose of those, and.. make 3 icons for the autumn leaves visuals, which would grant players agency in picking visuals they favor.

Unless someone has full black and white vision, they can tell the difference between orange and blue as far as I understand. That said, personally I don't care, but I'm sure there's a design philosophy at work here.

I didn't know it was based on staff and I want my 100 gems back, lol

I feel totally ripped off.

Autumn leaves are gold and orange. The version I have on my lightning staff is horrible and like the new content, completely underwhelming with blue and aqua colors and bubbles? I'm not sure what those undefined shapes are.

Can anyone explain?

you are able to preview the different versions before purchasing.
the colour is based on staff type so that's why Lightning is blue, those are also still just leaves.

if you want, you can probably request a refund via a support ticket

I doubt they will give me a refund but I will try.

I maintain that Autumn, Autumnal, Fall, etc all suggest fall colors. Blue and Green aren't Autumn, Autumnal, or fall colors. Words matter. I didn't see the option to see different versions but I wasn't looking for it. I read the title. Had the title read "seasons" or "leaves", etc, then I would understand.

All in all it's just another brick in the wall
