True, but there's no uncertainty principle involved. With a Shrodinger box for siege it could potentially contain any siege type in any number. For fun. Also, those could be stacked if still in the superposition of states so, potentially, all/any types of siege could be stacked.

Given they clearly exist in a superposition of possible states until actively observed by clicky-look-seeing at which point their form becomes locked into that observed form. /s
Other than that, it's a change which is welcome and handy for saving inventory space. Looking forward to more stuff like this (siege for one....).
