Love the GIGANTIC Pool in the new Solstice Bismuth Steam Bath house

Finished the West Solstice Grand Adventure Achievement just so i could buy this house instead of spending 7600 Crowns. The Pool is Huge and awesome you can swim in it! Great House for 1.2 million gold and going to be a blast sprucing it up!

This is an absolute beauty of a Home. ZOS really knocked it out of the park creating it. The balcony overlooking the pool is stellar and big and the whole house is very well thought out imo.

Lastly the waterfall steam room is gorgeous too! The basement Pool room with a waterfall is so relaxing i cannot wait to get the Hermit Music box to play while chilling.

I like it, and its reasonably priced, but....

it's not a home. I would rather have seen some of the side pools be normal rooms with a fireplace.

How many baths do you really need in one house?

Yes I agree, it's a really nice build they've made. There are many great areas in it.
My only (minor) regret is that there isn't more of the outdoor area, it's so spectacular and very inviting, I just want to keep exploring, and I almost only use outdoor areas on all my places.

Although an actual annoying thing about it is that it's not allowed the maximal number of furniture - How is it not large enough for that, the indoor area is really big.

Well im sure ideally in a bathhouse, not every bath does the same thing right, so you can have each bathing room for different things. Maybe one is a private bathroom, maybe theres a hot spring, maybe they could even be someone's bedroom/a nesting area for a pet/mount. Its up to your own imagination. What is home for one person may not always be home for another. ☺️

Agree. I love the house and cant wait to grab it and decorate it for my Argonians, but I really wish it was 1. 700 slots (600 is alright but 700 would be best) and 2. That you can explore the whole island, or at least that side area you can see but cant get to. I could more easily forgive the slots if we could access more area, but those are my only 2 gripes with it.

This is a case with a lot of the “homes” in the game. They gave away Hall of the Lunar Champion which was nice, but even today I have most areas of that house empty for lack of ideas to use them.

I’m a housing enthusiast but not creative enough yet to make good use of non-traditional houses. I suspect many other players struggle as well. I am just starting to consider doing themed houses at this time after all these years. I can’t see this house until it comes out on console but not sure what to do with it yet.

If you can't make it into a home then you can always fall back on making it into a temple or a shrine or a garden or a museum or a library. You know just common institutional things throughout the history of culture. You could also try making it a tavern or an inn. You know common buildings that people go into throughout history.

One for each day of the week, obviously, and maybe some just for soaking the ole sore feet.

    (j/k, I haven't seen the house yet)

I wish I could just purchase the back room of the inside, the room with the big waterfall cascading down. The room itself is so big I could make a home out of that space easily.

Yeah I’m trying to come up with some inspiration but I’m not creative by nature. I don’t mean to sound like I am complaining, I was just suggesting that having more typical houses would work better for more people. Those who can come up with cool ideas can work with just about anything.

I was kinda thinking of putting some Clockwork style spiral staircases for some high diving into the pool lol...

I cant stand the new house. Go look at the god awful roofing thats so uneven and clipping the heads off the top molding of the walls. Its horrible and I cant even look at it without getting angry, the effort it would take me to fix the interior of this house would take up all of my housing slots on walls alone.

Can you buy/upgrade the furnishing / firnished version complete with crowns when you buy it with gold? Too lazy to do that...

I am almost Grand Adventurer but don't see that house anywhere on my map or in Crown Store. What am I missing?
Edit - Never mind - icon didn't show up until I was right at the south tip of the island looking for it

Yep, you have to 'discover' new housing in your travels before it shows on the map.

Oh and some other ideas: rustic poor home, elegant rich home, alchemists' workshop, wizard laboratory/library, witch's lair, daedric realm, spooky house, cemetary, vampire lair, market/bazaar, surrealist landscape/area, etc... And what I often do is create houses for my companions and characters, so they are themed to each's lore, heritage, and personality.
