Tamriel Pride 2025 is coming up on Saturday, June 14, 2025, presented by Alphabet Mafia, Tamriel’s friendliest LGBTQIA+ guild! Schedule, info on the fashion and housing contests, march info, and more at https://discord.gg/TamrielPride2025 – we’d love to see you there!

Seeing as the game itself has LGBTQ+ characters, this then seems appropriate.

You don’t like it (for whatever ‘reason’) then don’t join it. You can now see where it is and avoid it.

And also to note, this game is played by people from all over the globe, not just the US. Think some of you forget that sometimes.

I don't recall having seen this announcement in previous years, so I'm curious to know for how long this has been happening. I do remember almost accidentally bumping into a pride event in Vvardenfell last year or before, but I'm not sure who organized that. In any case, very nice initiative! I do hope it goes without trouble, as Auridon's zone chat can get a bit... rowdy?

There were other Pride celebrations on PC-NA in 2022 through 2024. I think it was in Vvardenfell in 2023.

Strictly seen, from the lore perspective alone, these parades would probably not be held in Tamriel - because there is no distinction between straight, gay and bisexual people (maybe there isn't even a word that differenciates different orientations - just like it has been in some cultures on Earth before). It's all just normal, which I find wonderful.

But it's a game and not everything players do has to be lore-accurate all the time, after all

@Sordidfairytale You don't have to be anywhere in particular to enter the housing contest and yes, the deadline for housing contest entries is Friday, June 6, 2025 at 8pm Eastern. You do have to be present to enter the fashion contest on June 14 at 5pm Eastern, though. More details on everything at https://discord.gg/TamrielPride2025!

Agreed. There's no real anti-*insert a orientation or gender identity* movements in Tamriel. The only thing that could be considered even remotely close to any of that would be the interaction between a Nord and Dark Elf in Eboneheart:

Basically, the Nord called the Dark Elf a "fancy man" and asked if he had "fallen on any swords lately fancy man", in a mocking tone, implying engaging in a certain act is something to be ashamed of, or more likely that it implies you're feminine, which we do know sexism exists in the world from the meeting of the three alliances when they refer to Queen Aryenn as an "adolescent female".

Either way, none of that bothers me as a member of the IRL "alphabet mafia" (lol I love the guild name).

Just an update that the prize donation pool for Tamriel Pride 2025 is up to over 80 million gold, thanks to a generous 50 million donation from our friends at Amaranthine Vanguard! The prize pool also includes two player houses, Crown Crates and other Crown Store exclusive items, houseguests, furnishing bundles, and more! We plan to give prizes to all the winners of the fashion and housing contests, and then will award the remainder of the pool to randomly-chosen guilds and individuals who participate in the march on the 14th.
