Is there a way to increase the limits on housing items?
Since ZOS gave us that large house in Alik'r Desert last year I have been using it to store most of my housing items, particularly the Trophies I have collected from various group activiites. Yesterday, I hit the limit and had to display my latest Trophy in the new large house ZOS has given us through the May 2025 Golden Pursuits. I would like to keep all of my Trophies in one place - I have them nice and nearly displayed in the Alik'r Desert house and was hoping to eventually finish filling the entire wall - there's plenty of room for more.
If there is not a way to increase the item limit then which house would have the most space for Trophies? I prefer one with unlimited space but I suspect that doesn't exist. Yet?

✭✭✭✭✭If you already sub, then no there's no way to increase the limit. There will of course be a furnishing vault shortly, but the housing limits are imposed because of performance issues.0 -

✭✭✭*Console performance issues. PC's, even min spec can handle more than 700 furnishings.
I played a game called Landmark in 2014. It was a builder game using voxels and furnishing props like ESO. On a 2008 PC that represented the top 10% of rigs at the time (a stellar machine) was getting 60 FPS with 1500 furnishing items with over 1 million voxels for the rest.

I remember Landmark well. I never played it but I almost bought a lifetime membership to EverQuest Next because of how impressed I was with what they said they were going to do. Thankfully I didn't splurge on that but I did throw my thousands of dollars at another MMO called Rift which introduced their housing system called "Dimension: around this time.
I had 20 Dimensions and used all but one of them to store the dimension items that we were flooded with. It eventually got to the point where I just vendored them because I would get so many. Toward the end of my time playing Rift there were a couple of players that opened up their "Anywhere" Dimension for other players to donate items which I did.
There was only one Dimension that I bothered to decorate. It was tedious and boring and took me apx. six months to finish. Max'd out the limit at 4000 items. Never again. LOL!
Thanx for the heads up on no way to increase the housing items limit. I guess I'll have to just put the overflow into that new house ZOS just gave us.0
