Maintenance for the week of November 17:
• [COMPLETE] Xbox: NA and EU megaservers for maintenance – November 19, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)
I support the game, but my interest has waned quite a bit because there's some foundational issues I have with the game that year after year appear to not be changing or even on the radar. Subclassing is cool and will likely reignite my interest for a bit while I do the story and try a cool hunter-esque build similar to WoW hunters, but that's it and idk if that'll give me more than what? 10-15 hours of gameplay? Nothing else is really changing to the degree i'd like to see that would reinvigorate my "lost obsession" with the game if that makes sense.
This is also a fantastic year for video games in general. Been playing through Expedition 33 for instance having a blast where previously MMOs took up all my time. Blessing in disguise I suppose!
Whenever I try a single player game after playing MMOs for so long, I quickly lose interest days, or sometimes even hours, after I start because the game just feels so dead to me. I recently found an older game that actually gave me enjoyment for several weeks, Vampyr, but I still got to the end and had no reason to go back. And of the available MMOs, ESO is my main and WoW and DCUO I will do something in from time to time. I’ve played a lot of other MMO‘s in the past, but one by one they either closed down or I finally just stopped playing because of time constraints. I know there are lots of new beautiful single player games on the market, but they just don’t really interest me.
I don't really get eso+ anymore so the pass is a good deal for me. 4 dungeons + 1 trial + 2 zones and a new main story quest sounds like a decent deal for 50 bucks.

They should probably bundle year of eso plus lite (no crowns) in there. Then that would be a reasonable value proposition for me.
ESO Plus is not as much of a selling point anymore. Mainly various forms of bag space, these days. Doesn't even come with cheese! Boooooring.
What they could do is sell the 2025 Content Bundle. Like the Crowns that came with a house, only this time the player gets 8000 Crowns. Oh... and Solstice. That's a whopping 25 Crown Crates, and at a 10% discount! With polymorph! You are guaranteed at least four rewards, too! Also, Solstice.
I got it when it dropped. Very excited for new zones with new stories (Elves coexisting with Argonians? Eager to see how they do that though it might be easy to flub...) and I am curious about the lore behind the resurgent Worm Cult. Who could be behind this?
Subclassing is really awesome too and I wanted to show my support for finally roping ESO closer to the TES lore.
I bought it on sale at one of the third-party seller sites. It wasn't as good a deal as it would have been if I'd waited until the usual 50% discount when an event (likely the writhing wall) is running, but it was still at a discount.
I would not have bought it at full price. In my opinion, it's overpriced, especially if you're a subscriber, like I am. But I have no story content to do right now and figured that if I end up feeling ripped-off, or subclassing is a total disaster for me, I will at least have given this new model a try and will be able to leave with no regrets or second thoughts.

Where's the poll option to say I purchased it months ago?
Anyone that already purchased it should choose "Yes I am purchasing now" because they already did purchase it now, rather than wait for it to go on sale, or not purchase it at all.
Last year I decided not to purchase exp. packs anymore, because my experience is that apart from a new area rapidly explore, those packs have very little - to no - content for me and my way to play (and at the top of it, once done with exploring, I rarely return to them). So yes, it's always nice to see a new area, but it's not worth the invest in my case.
The concept change with the yearly pass doesn't change anything to my decision, so it's a no.
I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA
