Why are the monster trophy dyes listed under “common” dyes?

I have killed thousands upon thousands of monsters across Tamriel but I am still missing eleven monster trophies and four dyes related to the achievements. Why are these considered common dyes?

I have dyes such as Grand Overlord’s Brass and Ruby Throne Red but somehow the “common” ones elude me.

Can these dyes be moved to the ultra-rare category or the drop rate of monster trophies be upped?

I assume because the activities required are considered "easy" content for Monster Trophies, even if it takes a long time, whereas getting Grand Overlord or Emperor is considered "hard(er)" content, regardless of how the actual time spent on each activity compares between players.

tl;dr - I don't think their rarity is determined by how long they theoretically take to get.

The drop rate has increased, a few years ago as I remember it and you've also got the benefit of account wide achievement so you're not stuck farming something on one character when at least 3 others dropped it already, grrr!

Alcast used to have a good farming guide for this, showing the best locations to farm certain enemies
