    @ArchMikem I love ESO's whole outfitting/costume system but you have some great fashion ideas!

    Let me add a couple:

    Fix the Timbercrow Wanderer diaper butt bug. Please!

    Move away from butt/hip/crotch flappers, especially on light and medium armor styles. I'd love for all those flappers to be moved to belts or perhaps be hidable. Agressive and quite a bit of work? I would imagine so but how serious are we about the long term health of ESO? I submit the investment is worth it. If not, however, at least stop the bleeding by no longer designing new light/medium styles with those vexing flappers.

    I would be okay with graphics improvements to gear, costumes, etc. I am NOT okay with any changes to the way my girls look right now. Been there done that in a couple other games.... Of course, the likelihood of me being around if and when that happens is vanishingly small. So.... *shrug*

    I would like them to take a pass through all of the styles and bring some visual uniformity to them. For example, make the clothing matte and the armor shiny, none of the leather should be glossy. Use the first dye channel as the largest area of clothing, the next channel the next largest, and the third channel the smallest area like trim. That way when you change styles you don’t have to change the colors if you wish them to be the same as they were before, like you do now. Make sure all of those channels dye so they look the same, and that the color on any style is the same as another. So many times a particular dye channel is so washed out that two channels of the same color do not match.

    Older styles could use a texture improvement, if you try to pair an old style with a newer one it makes the old one look really bad.

    Some of it doesn't sound bad, but sacrificing a whole update for that? No, in my opinion it's something that should be done on the side, especially things like adding new adornments or hair styles.

    I'm perfectly happy with the appearance of my characters and don't use any personality etc additions.

    As such I don't see any need for the original proposals, and my concern would be that a lot of them would be default rather than optional, and with past experience with things like the Templar's jab skill animations (which would have been fine for everyone if optional) there's every chance that the changes would be no more popular than the present situation in which case there'd be no net benefit to warrant the investment in their development and testing etc.

    Also, if the intention was to increase substantially the options for every character's individual appearance then there would doubtless be ramifications for the database capacity and server performance aspects of the game.

    These ones might be ok only if they give us a free apparence change token for each character. (Or ideally make appearence change free for a while so we can see it in-game between making corrections.)

    I know you intend this to be an upgrade that will make characters look better, but it's really easy to mess up a players intended design in the process. Say for example someone wants their character to have hard, linear features and then the 'improved' polygon count and textures "helpfully" round out and soften all those corners and hard edges. Or maybe someone had to push sliders to the maximum to get the look they were going for and now with more and "better" detail their character looks wildly distorted.

    Look at...well any game which has changed player characters after release. Even Pokemon Go had people quit because they hated how their characters looked with the graphics upgrade. No matter how good the intentions or how technically better the result is it's going to annoy people. Having your character look the way you designed them and intended them to look is always going to be preferable to having slightly more polygons or being able to count their eyelashes if you zoom in enough.

    I'm not super keen on graphical "upgrades," as I'd worry about the aesthetics of the characters changing. Many of my characters are further along in years and I wouldn't want them to look like they'd gotten sudden plastic surgery, which could happen depending on who is in charge of the upgrade.

    I'm always on board for new personalities, custom personalities sound like a great idea, and ways to customize beast race tails would also be neat.

    What I'd like is for hair colors to be added to the collections UI. If they added that, I'd be willing to buy new premium hair colors. Streaks of gray would be nice to show that yes, it has been ten years since this character's adventure started.

    Graphics updates cannot exist in a vacuum and would likely add to the already bad performance in other areas of the game like Cyrodiil and trials. Based on this alone I would say it's a bad idea unless it was an optional separately downloaded texture package like Skyrim Special Edition had.

    Ick no. We saw what they did to Ithelia. If thats the idea of improvement for them I really don't want to see my characters butchered by "updates"
