May 2025 Golden Pursuits Results

Will we, the players, be allowed to know the results of the May 2025 Golden Pursuits?

I am curious to know which Pursuits received the most traffic and which received the least. Give us the percentages of each Pursuit completed as well as the overall percentage of players that did 25 to get the house? Can we know this or are the results for internal purposes only?

Please let us know. Thank you.

i would say this information isnt for our consumption and theres no reason for you, me or any other player to know this apart from your curiosity.

i doubt ZOS would release internal usage statistics as it requires effort and cost and doesnt provide any end user benefit

To what end? So it can be used as a gotcha in forum fights?

I can tell you I completed what I needed to do to get the house.

I'll do you one better. I've done just enough to get the 35k, but not enough to get the house. Really all I wanted was the weather icon, so the 35k was icing on top.

It will be a list ordered from easiest to hardest. My guess is that anyone can make it. We don't need ZOS's input.

I don't think ZOS have ever given us this kind of info, and I doubt they'll do it now.

But I agree with the people saying you can do it yourself because it will be a list from easiest to hardest. There might be a few ambiguous ones, like exactly how many people will do another dungeon 3 times over instead of 1 battleground, but I think we could easily work out a rough ranking for each one.

Or you could make a forum topic and ask people to say which ones they did. (There might be a topic for this already.) That could also give you qualitative data like how many of the people who did all the dungeon ones did that because they do at least 1 dungeon per day every day anyway, how many people actually tried something for the first time etc.

I don't really see the value of knowing the results.

For instance, if the one for the trial had the lowest percentage of completion, that should not be taken as an indication that all trials-- or perhaps just the one required for the pursuit-- should be removed from the game, because there are a lot of players who enjoy running the trials.

Similarly for the pursuits involving group dungeons, battlegrounds, or card matches.

Also, since several pursuits involve completing some particular content a certain number of times, it's likely there will be a lot of partial completions, so how should those be considered? Should a group dungeon that had a higher percentage of 3/3 runs be seen as more popular than one which had a lower percentage of 3/3 runs? I'm guessing that Fungal Grotto 1 will probably have the highest percentage of 3/3 completions, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the playerbase as a whole enjoys FG1 more than, say, Darkshade Caverns 1, just that FG1 is easier to grind through by players who want to grind through things.

I don't remember them ever giving a breakdown like that. I'm not sure what benefit there would be for us to know.

I can tell you I've earned the house on three accounts and each account did a mix of different categories!

I suspect there would be a pretty even spread across those categories, maybe going on comments on this forums the two ToT related ones might have seen the lowest traffic!! 🙂

I'm pretty sure the delve bosses where very popular and the dungeones where not.
I've seen sooo many players camping at delves, and in the dungeons I only saw one or two other players. ;)

There are probably a large number of players who will complete it when the login rewards finally add up. Those are the easiest.

I'd imagine there was a big difference between the public dungeons and the group ones.

Actually, doing the ToT ones as I want to unlock Zerith's perk (will likely get to 10 matches to win one) and needed 1 vs a player for the one of the anniversary achievements (luckily, I didn't have to win)

Only went out of my way for a couple of the dungeon ones but needed some keys anways and they were dailies when I had time to farm 3.

I found the dungeons a chore. I usually don't mind. I got the house on one account and am working towards the second account's house.
I saw this a few weeks ago which may say the PvP events are more popular. https://www.trueachievements.com/news/the-elder-scrolls-online-golden-pursuits-performing-well

There are 38 pursuits in this May grouping. You could skip a total of 13.

I didn't do the BG pursuit.
I didn't do either of the 2 ToT pursuits.
I didn't do any of the 10 group dungeon pursuits.

Everything else gave me the 25 needed to unlock the house.

Another 'I didn't do any of the ToT GPs in any of my accounts'.

Said that it wasn't particularly 'demanding' (for me) to do any of the others, it didn't require much in terms of 'going out of my way' either (other than the BG one, which in fairness I could have skipped too if I wished to).
