No Book Left Unread Xbox Achievement Glitched

I have spent thousands of hours and a lot of money on this game keeping my 100 percent and my final achievement from the new update, No Book Left Unread is glitched and did not unlock on Xbox when I got the in game achievement of the same name. The pictures attached show that I earned the in game achievement but have not got the Xbox achievement and since achievements are account wide I cannot even try and get on another character. I really need an answer on this and won't be spending any more money on the game until this is resolved. How hard is it to have the Xbox achievement unlock at the same time the in game achievement is unlocked? This is unacceptable considering Xbox/Microsoft owns you guys now. I see other posts about people having issues, it should be simple to have any Xbox achievements pop for anyone who has the in game achievement unlocked on their account. Please look into this an provide updates.

Sorry to see you fall victim to this as well. I'm not as close to 100% completion but with Emperor and Angler under my belt, I get the frustration.

One working theory I've heard is Quick Resume is a catalyst for things not unlocking. I play this game so often it's hard to know if I'm vigilant in always quitting the app.

Needless to say though, I think it's agreeable that only having one shot at any achievement per server is not the greatest design. I'm currently levelling an EU character to reattempt a raid as that's my glitched one. Figure you'd be in a similar boat too for this one so hopefully something comes out soon..

They really should have some sort of fix for it, I don't understand why they can't even do something like reset our in-game achievement so we can try again if they're not able to fix. I've heard about issues with Quick Resume so I don't even use it, my game is always fully closed when I'm done and started fresh when I play so I don't think in my case it was that.

I think with this particular achievement it can glitch due to doing some of the mini games in Coop and some in solo. When you play in Coop you play the lowest difficulty that the both of you are on so I have a feeling this messes things up playing in Coop when you're constantly playing different difficulty levels and it messes up the achievement. I did a large mix of solo and Coop for the achievement so I'm guessing that messed things up even though I got the in game achievement. I know several people in game that also finished the in game achievement but it did not unlock the Xbox achievement so this particular achievement definitely seems to be bugged in some way.

I know it's not what you want to do, but for other achievements that don't pop, you may have a second chance by playing on the opposite server to which you normally play on. For example, if you usually play on EU, try to unlock the achievement again on NA. I had this problem with the Saviour of Galen Xbox achievement and it worked the second time around for me.

Yeah that is an option but it really sucks, especially with this achievement because to be able to solo it I'll need a fairly high leveled CP and geared character so most likely around 100 hours just for that and then the achievement alone takes around 20. Plus I'm fairly certain this achievement can glitch if you play any coop at all with someone who is on lower difficulties than you on the mini games so they at least need to look into this and make sure it has no issues unlocking before I spend a lot of time trying to get it again, even though they should be able to get it to unlock. I know developers can help unlock achievements if they know you met the requirements, I know it's happened in Sea of Thieves where support has helped unlock achievements that glitched. As they are owned by Xbox, ZOS should be able to do something.

Is anyone from ZOS going to acknowledge this. I have been one of the most loyal customers, you can look at my account and see the thousands of dollars worth of crown store items I have and all the time I have spent playing and earning all the achievements just to have my final one glitch and lock me out of the 100 percent.

I hope ZOS can eventually work out a system to get these missing Xbox achievements to pop properly. It's incredibly frustrating.

I was missing the Sanity's Edge achievement despite clearing it many times on my NA account. I had to create a whole new EU account, level it up, gear it up, then LFG the trial to finally get the Xbox achievement to pop.

They have proven they can fix them, there was ones that had issues like Big Score and Savior of Elsweyr that didn't pop when you got the in game achievement but after like 2 years when they fixed they popped when you logged in. So they definitely are able and know how to fix, it just takes them forever which is ridiculous. It shouldn't take over 2 years to fix something simple like that, especially with how much I've spent on the game, it for sure would cover what the dev time needed to fix is.

It really sucks that the only option is either waiting in hopes they eventually fix or restarting like you did on the EU server and spending a lot of time leveling and gearing up to try again.

It seems like we will be waiting forever. This achievement did pop for me on Xbox, but I have others that are still locked even though they are unlocked in-game. For me, trying again on the other server did not work. There are others out there with the same problem. Very disappointing they can’t/won’t help us.

I have continually tried to redo all of the steps of the achievement and nothing I do will get it to pop the Xbox achievement.

The XBox achievement to kill one dragon in N Elseweyr is still bugged for me, 10+ dragons in. At some point, I'll have to try it on an alt, but it is frustrating that this happens at all. Maybe ZOS could implement a "scan and retrigger platform achievements" feature that runs whenever you launch the game for the first time after a patch.
