This has been happening since Elsweyr—probably when they shifted focus to their new MMO, leaving ESO to become little more than a cash cow. The game has always had aggressive monetization, but lately, they’re demanding too much and giving back too little. I don’t even know what to say anymore. After all these years, many of us stuck around out of love for the game—but now, even the most loyal fans are walking away.Zyaneth_Bal wrote: »[snip] Introducing a game breaking feature in the most raw form, promising changes yet not delivering any. Yeah by no means this is new. But for what reason would they be killing the game which is still plenty profitable. Isn’t it their most profitable project?This has been happening since Elsweyr—probably when they shifted focus to their new MMO, leaving ESO to become little more than a cash cow. You have several weeks worth of forum posts to get your answers. I can’t be bothered anymore
It’s rly nothing compared to what happens to pvp.Twohothardware wrote: »Exactly what in the game is now broken because of subclassing?
100k dps -> 150k+ dps
x7 or more
+ added buff and debuff capabilities from supports

Just because you didn’t see the community destruction of AWA doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Objectively it caused community damage, I was there.

There is no competition, just pointing out that the update is in fact much worse than just thatZyaneth_Bal wrote: »It’s rly nothing compared to what happens to pvpTwohothardware wrote: »Exactly what in the game is now broken because of subclassing?

I don’t think there needs to be competition between what will happen to PvErs and what will happen to PvPers. We’re in this together. That said, yeah the consequence in PvP is inconceivable. Literally just don’t get to know what you’re going up against I suppose, let alone the other problems.

Few people angry at forums isn't "community" of the whole TESO. Most people wouldn't even notice
And if I'm part of the community and was playing before and after the change yet didn't notice it get destroyed... Then how could it happen? That overdramatic claim has no sense

In 1 or 2 months you can check player numbers to see... like on steam, there's info there if you search.
I'm curious myself
I think eso will gain more players actually. Which is a good thing.

What happens to PvP is we get access through subclassing to higher burst damage and can kill everyone that’s currently running around with 40k health, 30k resistance and max impen.
PvP has been a mess because the time to kill is like 15 minutes per player.
