Or maybe it's more like two smaller story dlcs? It's hard to say yet since we don't know how different both halves of the island will look (I have strong suspicions that the second half behind the gate will look more like Coldharbour than the tropical island of the first half), and how closely the stories are related (whether it's a hard split and the seperate parts make absolutely no sense without each other, or whether it's more like Necrom and Gold Road).

I have played it on the PTS.

When you look at the achievements, delves, dungeons, points of interest etc it say 'undiscovered east solstice point of interest'. We got 50 percent of all region items when you look at it.

They did say they will introduce a quest that will make sure the story makes sense even after the community wall event.

We also get 2 dungeon packs in the price and the stuff that is usually in the deluxe collectors edition of the chapters.

IMO they want to charge us about the same for much less.

I think there will be backlash when the chapter regulars who don't follow ESO news see what their $50 buys them this year.

Does this mean that if we don't succumb to fomo, that the region will forever be broken to those who aquire it later, with a completed wall event?

everyone on PTS is saying the current half of solstice available is incredibly tiny and a fraction of a chapter...so unless this half is not truly a half and 2/3 will be released EOY, then no, it's not the same scale as a chapter...what am I missing here?

I 100% agree with you. But don't waste your time saying this on the forums. Most of the people I knew who played are leaving or just making ESO a side game they log into once in a while. They are not spending any more money on the game.

It's 85aud that includes 2 dlc that my eso+ will gives me. There is no exclusive system like scribing, scrying/mythic, subclass or crafting.

They'd have more takers if they did it in a crown bundle or a crate bundle. I get far more value and give more support to the game from just buying the max crown bundle or 1 year eso+.
