Someone please explain the content pass to me...

Hi all...

I'm a bit confused.
I have ESO+, and I've played for the last, oh I don't know how many years. I've bought all the expansions when they came out (either as collectors editions for the fun stuff, or just the regular version when it came out).
Do I now have to buy the premium version so that I can continue to access all the expansions? I mean... I already paid for them... do I have to pay for them again?
Or is it enough to pick up the regular content pass just before the new expansion comes out, for the new stuff?

I read the FAQ but I'm still confused.

Thank you.

Just buy the regular one. Premium this time around is for people who don’t have access to the majority of DLCs.

Only the previous chapters are included with the premium content pass. "The majority of DLCs" still has to be bought separately in the crown store - unless you have ESO+, which grants you access to all DLCs apart from the content released this year. The only thing included in ESO+ and the new content pass are the new dungeons.

It's exactly the same as chapters: they had an upgrade version which was just the newest chapter and a 'collection' version which included previous chapters (but not DLC) for people who didn't already have them. They've changed the names but functionally it's the same.

@Ravensilver I would hold off on buying anything for now. we already know that as before, the dungeon packs can be bought individually outside the content pass. it stands to reason that solstice can also be purchased separately once it releases which would be the much better deal for an ESO+ user like yourself. Unfortunately, ZOS has yet to give us any clear confirmation on what purchase options they'll provide this year. better err on the side of caution.
