I would not be surprised if by the next time the Crime Wave event rolls around, it's a lot more forgiving. I also don't blame anyone writing it off after what looks like another awful preliminary experience that seems hell-bent on wasting everyone's time.

Is this not considered repeatable?
It seems like anytime they introduce a grindy Event &/or a new grind into an existing Event, the first round is miserly and awful with terrible RNG. Example: the drop rates for the iconic Replica Style Pages introduced during last year's Jubilee event. They were bound, couldn't be bought for tickets last year, and the drop rates were downright punishing.
But by the time those pages were available again this year during the Pan-Tamriel event, they could be bought for tickets and the drop rates were SIGNIFICANTLY increased.

Well, so much for my intention to pick up where I left off yesterday to try to raise my bounty some more in the hope of better loot. Bank Holiday Monday and maintenance again. I strongly suspect that by the time maintenance is over my bounty will have cleared and I will be back to square one with no time to build it up again to yesterday's level and no time to play tomorrow since I am back at work again and the event will be over by the time I log on in the evening.

Bad idea to have this event at the start of a Golden Pursuit.
