Subclassing is clearly the draw with this patch. It's a shame that my wife and I have zero desire to return to play something that doesn't even let us play.
BG group queue is terrible. You were informed about this week 1 of PTS 44 and you did nothing. Then did nothing for U45. And now nothing for U46. That means broken group queue will continue to be a thing for a minimum of 9 months.
We've found other games that value our time. My wife and I spent hundreds of dollars per year on this game leading up to U35. We'd love to open the wallet again, but not for a game that forces us to sit in queue for 10-30min, then wait another 5 min in BG purgatory with 13 other players while we wait for a mystical solo player to queue for the group queue to save us, all because one player had to go pee during the ready up.
Complete let down.

Yes, that’s very much ZOS’s style — releasing a new system without actually finishing it.
Hybridization is still incomplete.
Scribing — I also feel like the system is unfinished, especially considering how useless some skills are, like Smash, Torchbearer, and Vault.
Battlegrounds — queues are still broken, the wait times before matches are too long, and the scoring in competitive mode is a mess.
And that's not even touching on all the issues with class and set balance.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if multiclassing ends up being half-baked too.
It seems to me that ZOS’s strategy is to keep introducing new systems just to distract from the problems with older ones. Unfortunately, that tactic is now overloaded with unresolved legacy issues. I’d really prefer to see real fixes instead of flashy new systems that come with their own problems.
Right now, I’ve switched over to Baldur’s Gate 3, and I have zero regrets — I don’t even log into ESO anymore.
1) Stop resetting MMR. Self explanatory, the MMR resets have driven a lot of players away, and the ones that have stayed are doomed to club seals for 80% of their games. The seals dont even know why its happening to them, leading them to believe ESO has no mmr system and they shouldn't try to compete. I miss my old MMR bracket. 90% of my ingame friends/connections are from that bracket. Guilds were built on that bracket. They need to let it re-establish itself.
ZOS could make some very simple changes to make BGs 10x more enjoyable for everyone:
2) Let games start without full teams like they used to. This change should have been implemented in 4v4v4 if at all (when you would be the only person on one team vs 2 full teams), in two-team battlegrounds, you are never put in that situation and the wait for one more person to fill a team is soul destroying. Let us get the game started and people can fill as it goes on.
4v4v4 worked fine. No idea why it had to be removed. Removing content is never good. Where is my snowy Wrothgar Malakath map? The new maps don't come close. Bring me back to Eld Angvar.
I don't like Cyrodiil Zerg Simulator aka 8v8. I don't like pretending the game is even close to being in a competitive state aka 4v4. I want Three-Banners thematic with the sportsmanship of having 3 unique teams (RIP Stormlords) making absolute chaos in the arena. You know? Fun.
If the queue is broken now and most of the time I could find matches even at night during witching hours for spooky 4v4v4, why not just revert it?
Losing BGs stung. Now its time to lose Classes, too.
