When every microvariation becomes a new “class,” complete with its own invented name, the result is absurdity.

There is no meaningful difference between “maghelstamarcatempnightplaranist” and half the other combinations people feel compelled to brand. The need to label every permutation reveals more about players’ fantasy investments than it does about the structure of the game itself.

Sometimes it really is just a Nightblade who put a few more points into Stamina. It doesn’t need a mythos.
