5 CORPSE/PET LIMIT MAKES ALL PVP NECRO BUILDS USELESS -Blastbones needs to not be counted as a pet

It is nearly impossible to use Necro's staple ult Animate Blastbones to call 3 Blastbones now. In fact you will press a 300 cost ultimate in pvp and get 0/3 Blastbones Summoned almost every time! Ye that's right, a 300 cost ultimate that does absolutelly nothing! Not to mention the duration of the corpses reduced to 5 seconds.

Every PvP Necro build uses Blighted Blastbones/Skeletal Arcanist/Spirit Guardian (3 pets + 3 corpses) + Class Mastery (1 corpse) + Summoner Armor (1 corpse) = a potential total of 8 corpses under your feet without any mobs around. Put 2-3 mob corpses around and you get 10-11 corpses under your feet. Now cast Animate Blastbones and from a pile of 10 corpses you summon 0/3 Blastbones. This is ridiculous!

In order to pvp with your strongest necro ult you need to make a build that doesn't have abilities that generate or consume corpses and kill 3 mobs to get your 3 skeletons. Basically your only Necromancer skill on both bars will be Animate Blastbones and that's it.

The only solution I see to fixing the Animate Blastbone ultimate is to make both blighted blastbones and the 3x spawned blighted blastbones to not count towards the 5 corpse/pet limit.

I think a rework to the Blastbones generally would alleviate much of Necromancer's issues currently. Remember, on top of the pet/corpse limit the Blastbones can all be stunned or negated. Imagine if I could just stun or cancel your Deep Fissure, Grim Focus, Haunting Curse, Bound Armaments or Fatecarvers/T. Dreads. Would that be fun? No. Its unfair. Only Necromancer enjoys this kind of flavor of buzzkill. I have managed to burst down blastbones in PVP before they manage to jump on me many times. Fix this. Make it an animation and a delayed damage burst. It doesn't need to be a pet that lasts 2-4 seconds just to open up potential cancelation.

The only saving grave of blastbones is that you can use it as a bodyblock, but yeah getting your blastbones streaked is not fun, they should be CC immune atleast. The issue is now with literally 5 corpse generating abilities you can't even summon your pvp necro damaging ultimate. It's stupid cause if a mob in IC has been dead for 3 minutes under your feet , it stil counts as an unusable corpse. It's imposible to prep the ultimate in a reliable manner.

Indeed. Already created a similar discussion. Hopefully the daedric summoning treatment won’t become the standard now “If you don’t like something about the skill line, then don’t use it” as they said in the patch notes💀.
