Simple solution to original classes being nerfed update 46. Set a condition that class skills and passives will be modified only if using multiclass. Have an advisement when choosing to multiclass that your original class skills are subject to change. Easy answer to close the disparity between the two. Also sets it up if things need to be buffed contrarily.

It would be better to implement it as an escalating bonus for having 2-3 "matched" skill lines. People hate nerfs and love buffs, and we've got a model for it already in the form of set bonuses.

They are not arguing for different pvp/pve skills. They are arguing for the skills nerfs to only apply to characters who multiclass and not to characters who remain 'pure'. I also agree with this.

This is a much more desirable solution than requiring no pet Sorcerers to replace one of their skill trees with one from a different class if they don't want to use pets.
