vengeance overload change mostly to live would be amazing

the change in question makes the overload ult cost 25 ultimate per use but takes a gcd, so has to be casted, to do the slightly enhanced spammable damage. no heavy attack variant in vengeance, that part can stay or go not preference as it takes gcd's and prevents to toxic play style of shielded while on full offense.it would still have use in cheese pve parses as the ultimate of choice from 500 until just enough as atro but has the benefit of Regen ult during uses making it even more viable for pve and pvp.

TLDR - put vengeance overload to live. removes Shield +la builds, opens new builds in pve and makes sorc less toxic and feast or famine over all

    Most likely the vengeance campaign will become nearly everyone running whichever class ends up being the strongest. So Cyrodiil will become all sorc vs. sorc, or NB vs. NB or whatever the strongest class is at the time. Cyrodiil will just become large groups of the same class fighting other groups of their same class.

    I just don't envision any scenario where this template only PvP will keep players logging in to play for any extended period of time.

    oh no i think vengeance pvp overall is awful and far too tanky with too little damage but the change they did to overload fixed the problem with sorc that they can go on full offense or nearly full offense with overload la stacking while spending every gcd on harden ward and still doing the same damage as anyone else, the change would remove that ability so its either cast overload or cast shield you dont get to do both every gcd

    Overload is a unique ultimate mechanic that's designed to facilitate burst. Changing it to be just another spammable but costs ult, fails to understand the entire mechanical point of the ability.

    It is the Ultimate version of crystal weapon (or elemental/crushing weapon). The ability is fine, the Vengeance version is bad.

    and in its current implementation its only use in pve is parsing from 500 until to first atro drop then never used again and in pvp its toggled on and then every gcd or 75% of them are used to press harden ward denying counterplay as you have a refreshing shield for extended periods of time over 30 seconds if user has 500 ult. all while doing comparable damage if not highier if your bold enough to not press harden ward.

    changing it to cost ultimate and dead frag proc level of damage or a little less since its consistent still offers instance burst but removes the no window of opportunity to fight back
