Aces-High-82✭✭✭✭RC+WV+Roska+DDF is the most rounded approach imo. Aim for 50k mag with DDF. Lightning Staff FB and Bow on BB.
You can stack mag to 80k (obvious sets + vamp ult) but sustain and mitigation will be meh vX.3 -

If you wanna x you have to build for high sustain.1 -

✭✭✭The hardest hitting Mag Sorc I've played is a Torc of the Last Ayleid King build with 64 magicka and full Divines Shadow Khajiit. You have maybe 26k health but I was getting 15k curses and 20k frags on some players. Your healing with Vibrant Shroud is really strong as well. The only issue is you can't 1v1 most players since your mitigation and health pool is so low. But if you're zerg surfing then that build hits so hard it's ridiculous. Hits way harder than any max mag sorc.
