Can we get rid of this constant zoom in / zoom out effect? Please and thank you?

It's been around since forever, and I'm surprised it hasn't been addressed yet. It's 2025 and accessibility is a big deal in games.

It makes me feel nauseous. Get a load of boxes to openfrom the event and do them one by one....bleh

I don't even want to play because I get so many boxes. Over 100 per day during the PvP event and I use the Unboxer addon and it's still a pain to deal with.

Just let me opt out of the stupid boxes.

I agree. I get that from just opening daily crafting writ boxes everyday on multiple characters.

I'll add my vote for removing this effect. It doesn't make me personally nauseous (possibly because I never have that many boxes to unpack or I'm just much further from the screen) but it certainly is disconcerting and completely unnecessary.

I think it would be easily solved if the inventory didn't automatically close when a box is opened.

Closing the inventory is what causes the zoom out.

So, open box -> keep inventory open. Easy. No motion sickness.

Mine doesn't zoom in and out nearly as far and I never even noticed it until I looked for it. Is this more prominent on console?

Regardless, that really should be fixed.

I wish they would do away with the bright flashes of light that sometimes happen, too.

Really was and still I am hoping that we get an option to open and take all like we can with mail now.

The only solution I can offer now is positioning so you are beside a wall or object that causes the rapid zooming. This has helped me a lot. Often when I have a lot to open at once, I just look away and press buttons over and over and only glance every few seconds to see when I am done.

having seen your video, you are missing the quirk of console - as you also spin from facing away to facing towards the camera and back again as you zoom in and out. Will try and get a quick video later

And then while you're zoomed in, someone starts randomly firing off spells or dropping AoEs on you and whoever is nearby (including the banker, the merchant, ...) so now your screen is awash in visual fx. *Really* wish that wasn't a thing.
