I need help with a ticket as i am getting little help from support

I did a dungeon this morning and as is typical the dungeon has a quest attached to it the first time you do it. at the end of the dungeon i went to talk to the quest giver and suddenly i was booted out of the conversation and couldnt talk to the quest giver. Additionally, i did not receive my skill point or my coffer so i did the reasonable thing and filed a ticket for support.

Support wants to know the name of the quest giver and the name of the quest. I provided them with the name of the toon and the approximate time and the name of the dungeon and that i didn't know the name of the one time quest or the quest giver BUT that since its their game they could surely look that up and not put that on me.

They replied with a message about a daily quest and so i replied it was not a daily quest but a one time quest for the named dungeon, they then asked for the name of the dungeon the quest giver and the name of the quest.

wash, rinse, repeat. round and round we go.

So now i'm here on the forum asking for help from the dev team to correct this error that I DID NOT CAUSE. thank you.

Who do i tag to get attention and give to them my ticket number?

io just want to add that i think it's unreasonable for them to expect me to know the name of the quest or the quest giver. i dont do eso trivia to remember such things. i dont chew bubble gum and walk most days.

To their credit, 4 1/2 hrs usnt a bad response time i think given the game in question.

Thanks. I feel dumb today. Every week i make homemade cat soup for my outdoor cats. today i forgot to add the barley. I just has the dumbs today. So for the next 5 days the cats have to eat their gazpacho without the barley pureed in it. not a tragedy but just shows my isnt working.

It finally dawned on me to go back to that dungeon by porting in and i could see that the chief barzog or whatever didnt have the quest marker on him so i had one of those how can i be so dumb moments and checked the quest log and saw there was a quest there i forgot the name again already... and so i abandoned the quest and the quest marker returned at the start of the dungeon so while i didnt get the skill point or the coffer this time i can still repeat the dungeon to get it again another time .

However the bug did still at the end of the dungeon kick me oit of the conversation with the chief and wouldnt allow me to speak with him. it was very odd. never had that happen before. So please look into that bug please and thank you.

Since you didn’t specify, if you were in a random group using the dungeon finder, the group leader may have disbanded the group and that caused you to get booted from the dungeon.

You didn’t say whether you were in a premade group or if you queued up in the dungeon finder solo.

You didn’t say whether you were in a premade group or if you queued up in the dungeon finder solo.

it's of no consequence. The fact remains i was in conversation and was forcibly removed from the conversation sand could not reengage the conversation with the npc. that's the bug. i dont see how more clarification beyond that is necessary.

nope its not the most likely thing to have happened because theres a two minute timer that would have given me time to speak to the npc but therte was no ability to speak to the npc just like i said is exactly how it happened and it is no different than that.
