Should Random Norm Dungeon have xp reward boosted atm?

EDIT:- I just got 85k xp for a set of 7 daily crafting writs..... that normally give around 23k you may want to check the xp bonus set up!!

Yes, I agree. I've seen some crazy XP gains myself and others posting in guild chat about it.

My character went from level 10 to level 18 in one go doing his For Glory! battleground and he wasn't even on an XP scroll, that was just from the event. It's not really good for the game for low level characters to be levelling up that fast, especially for new players as they are missing out on the gradual development of their character.

Someone in guild chat said they got a crazy amount of XP handing in crafting writs.

I should add I had no scrolls running.

Also I checked it wasn't a UI error the 85k was definitely added to my character level.

Uhhhh wow, yeah, it is. Granted, I had a 100% XP boost scroll running at the time, and decided to do a bunch of master writs for the Golden Pursuit 15 quests line while working on leveling some healer skills on a new build. Then I realized the levels on those skills shot up much higher than expected.

Great, now I’m scared to play any further if XP for everything in the game is glitched. Will this be hot fixed soon @ZOS_Kevin ? Should I self-report to have the XP and skill levels rolled back? I don’t wanna risk a ban for just normal gameplay that now apparently seems very broken.

Hi all, thanks for the follow up here. We had our teams investigate and indeed find an issue with XP. This issue has been hotfixed and is now working as intended. The +100% XP boost should now only be related to PvP activities for Whitestrake's Mayhem.

If you did get any additional XP, no action will be taken. So no need to issue a ticket and there is no rollback. Thanks again for reporting the issue!

Whew! Thank you for the quick response and fix. Now to log back in and start enjoying the event proper.
