Why do you hate E-sports?

Just a question some players have said they don't want ESO to go down that path and mention E-sports as an insult?

I personally think it would be a smarter path since MMO genre has no tittle in E-sports and WoW was kicked out of mlg for combat looking boring and horrible balance.

Basically this is how games work. You go casual or you go E-sport.

Call of duty -Counter strike
League of legends - dota 2
Street fighter -tekken
wh40k: dawn of war II-starcraft 2
World of warcraft -????
So many games have a sister but WoW
So why do you hate or approve E-sports?

Honestly reason I can see E-sports being difficult to balance is because MMO tend to focus on PvE since they are a huge chunk of the player base.

Because there are already a million e-sports instanced PvP arena games out there.

We don't need every MMO turned into one.

There are a bunch that try to be. GW2, even WoW. Heck, most people that want this consider MOBAs to be "MMO" even though they aren't at all.

Half the MMOs on the market put in their instanced arena PvP specifically to be "an e-sport".

maybe because E-sports and MMo exclude eachother?
to have competitive circumstances you have to provide some kind of arena with a limitied amount of participants wich initself contrasts the MM in MMo. any battlefield providing the MM aspect on the otherhand will never provide comparable competition, and without comparisation there is no need for an e-sport surrounding.

spelling and grammar errors are free to be abused

Yet MMO restrict the amount of people can go into PvE content like dungeons and trials so that obviously isn't what an MMORPG is.

Honestly when I think of ESO PvP and it's destructible environment I honestly was going for a battlefield type combat with 3 sides.

AvAvA could easily be an E-sport if it was changed so that one faction could actually win. Not only would be amazing to see let's say 75vs75vs75(3 guild per faction) but it would be huge PvP that has never been done before.

The problem with RvR ATM that restricts that is the RNG numbers per faction

No one wins just punch each other for a few hours

Map needs to be smaller so it is something that could be done in an hour or two.

Death means very little compared to other E-sports sure you are out of the battle for a bit but you can easily be resurrected.

Tl;dr:AvA is fun but I wish this wasn't the same AvA we have gotten over the last decade.
